LA Wildcats @ NY Guardians picks, expert predictions & betting tips

LA Wildcats
NY Guardians
LA Wildcats -7.0 Point Spread
-105
Under 39.0 Game Totals
-110

Against The Spread Pick

The Los Angeles Wildcats are hoping to have their first winning streak of their XFL existence as they hit the road to take on the New York Guardians. The Wildcats offense pulled off one of the biggest upsets so far in the new league as they destroyed Cardale Jones and the DC Defenders this past Sunday. Jones ran into a brick wall in the Wildcats defense having put up a gaudy 500 total passing yards, four touchdowns and one interception in the first two weeks. Los Angeles picked off Jones four times in the blowout win and that aggressive defense will now take on the Guardians. New York are coming off a blow-out loss to the St. Louis Battlehawks and the offense is still one of the worst in the league. Even though the Guardians won in week one, the offense has not delivered at all. New York’s only second-half touchdown came on a scoop and score, and they totaled just 226 yards of total offense, with just 2.8 yards-per-carry on the ground. I do not trust this New York offense at all and will ride this Wildcats train until it stops.

Over Under Pick

It has been announced that wide receiver Nelson Spruce is OUT for this matchup and without a doubt the Wildcats’ most explosive offensive player will be missed. Spruce has been one of the hottest receivers in the league catching 20 passes for 267 yards and two touchdowns. Without Spruce, Los Angeles will struggle a bit on the offensive side, a felling that is all too familiar to New York. This might be the game the Wildcats find their running game finally, especially if Hood can suit up for the game. Give me the under as this game screams slow and controlled for the Wildcats win.

Seattle Dragons @ STL Battlehawks picks, expert predictions & betting tips

Seattle Dragons
STL Battlehawks
STL Battlehawks -12.0 Point Spread
-110
Over 39.0 Game Totals
-110

Against The Spread Pick

Entering the 2020 XFL season, oddsmakers gave the St. Louis Battlehawks over-under win total at a solid 3.5.

That is looking more than a little foolish as three weeks in they have put up two victories already. The Battlehawks are transformed and are double-digit favorites for the second time this season as they head into week four. St. Louis has been living off the ground game so far this season and Matt Jones is currently the XFL’s rushing leading after three weeks with 224 yards. With a powerful running game, it has been easy work for QB Jordan Ta’amu to settle in the pocket and he is second in the XFL with 612 passing yards. It’s really hard to shy away from the Battlehawks at the moment. They have dropped at least 24 points in back-to-back weeks, while the Dragons are averaging 16 points per game. This is the largest spread in XFL history (admittedly not a huge span of time) and why not, especially with nearly 25,000 screaming STL fans in the stands again. I’m not sure the Dragons can keep pace with the “underdog” Battlehawks in this one even with 12 points. It’s a small lean, but If I’m putting money on this ATS pick, it has to be with the Hawks.

Over Under Pick

It’s hard to back a team that fails to deliver in the fourth quarter as the Dragons currently fall in that role. Looking back in their week three loss to the Dallas Renegades, they actually led 12-6 heading into halftime but got outscored 18-0 after the start of the 3rd quarter. I expect the same scenario here with the Dragons staying toe to toe with the Battlehawks in the 1st half and producing a good amount of points. However, the second half is when St. Louis will run away with the game and the spread. Give me the Over here as Seattle does just enough in the 1st half to help this over hit.

Houston Roughnecks @ Dallas Renegades picks, expert predictions & betting tips

Houston Roughnecks
Dallas Renegades
DAL Renegades +1.0 Point Spread
-110
Over 49.5 Game Totals
-110

Against The Spread Pick

The battle of Texas will be going down in week four as the Houston Roughnecks make the 250 mile trip to take on the Dallas Renegades. The Roughnecks have been led by their powerful offense and Phillip Walker, arguably the best quarterback in the league. Friendly reminder that Walker finished as Temple’s all-time leader in passing yards (10,669), passing touchdowns (74) and wins by a quarterback (28). Coming into this week four matchup, Walker has been on fire as he has totaled 249.3 passing yards/game 11 total TD and an average of 32.21 DraftKing Points. Even though Walker has been the King of the XFL, he is going to face his toughest test so far this season taking on practically the best defense in the XFL. The Renegades are allowing a little over 15 points per game and have showcased they can easily win on the road. They come into this game with a two-game divisional road game streak. Everything is lining up for the Renegades at the moment as this game reminds me of the Defenders and Wildcats game. Give me the home team as the Renegades make the West playoff race even crazier.

Over Under Pick

Everything is bigger in Texas and that also applies to this over-under pick. Even though the Renegades have one of the best defenses in the league, they will be tested by QB Phillip Walker on Sunday. This is going to be a back-and-forth game with both Walker and Landry Jones going the distance. It will be a classic Texas shootout with key X factors helping Dallas win this game. One of those is TE Donald Parham, a 6-foot-8 monster who scored two touchdowns in week three. Dallas is the more complete team and will showcase that in this high tempo game. Give me the over with confidence.

Sun, Mar 1st - 7:00pm ET:
DC Defenders @ Tampa Bay Vipers picks, expert predictions & betting tips

DC Defenders
Tampa Bay Vipers
DC Defenders -2.5 Point Spread
-115
Over 44.5 Game Totals
-110

Against The Spread Pick

The Tampa Bay Vipers have been the laughing-stock of the XFL as they went from one pre-season favorites according to oddsmakers to most likely only winning three games this season. Tampa Bay came into the season with the highest projected season total at 7.5 wins, and were favorites to win the title at +175. They have yet to win a game and now take on an angry DC Defenders team that is ready to get back on track. DC comes into this game off a blowout loss to the Los Angeles Wildcats, but have the ability to easily get back to their winning ways. QB Cardale Jones and the offense have scored an average of 22.3 points per game this season while allowing 19.3 points per outing. Tampa Bay have managed to score just 13 points per game while allowing 24.6. DC has the all-around offense and this most likely turns into a shootout with both teams averaging higher than 350 total yards per game. Give me Jones in this tight game as the Defenders get their third win on the year.

Over Under Pick

One of the hardest total picks of the week four slate comes in this game as the Tampa Bay Vipers have yet to really figure themselves out. Tampa Bay actually has a pretty solid lineup of players, but have yet to deliver on the field. I’m gambling with them a bit as I’m hoping the Vipers can continue to slowly build with either Flowers or Cornelius starting under center. I’m leaning with the over here as the Defenders get back on track and get the scoring started fast and early with the Vipers playing catchup.

The Home Of Free XFL Expert Picks For The 2020 Season

More football can never be considered a bad thing — especially when you can bet on the XFL.

The XFL is a professional American football league owned by Alpha Entertainment in Connecticut. It ran for a single year back in 2001, then organised by the WWF and NBC, before being reintroduced in 2019.

XFL is similar to NFL but with some inaugural changes.

In order to increase the pace of the action and heighten the excitement, play blocks have been shortened to 25 seconds, double forward passes are allowed and the new scoring system replaces the kicker and adds a new dimension to the game.

Expert XFL Parlays And Teaser XFL Predictions

Betting on teaser picks is a safer play when betting on XFL games. The spread is reduced to increase the chances of winning when combining more than one team into one bet. For example in a 2-team 6 point teaser a -8 spread becomes -2 making it more likely to win. The only drawback being that both selections have to win for the ticket to cash.

XFL Parlays, on the other hand, are a riskier form of betting but yield a greater reward. The spread remains the same and all selections must land for you to cash your ticket.

Teasers and parlays can be played with 2 teams or more from different matches.
