Super Wild Card Weekend continues on Sunday as the 49ers travel to Philadelphia for a date with the Eagles. These teams have previously squared off in the postseason back in 2023, so there is a bit of history here between the two most successful NFC franchises over the last 6 seasons. Here are my 49ers vs Eagles TD scorer best bets for Sunday’s contest. You can also check out our NFL picks for EVERY playoff matchup after our experts finished the season up +78.1 units!

49ers anytime touchdown scorer best bet: Christian McCaffrey (-125)
Odds available at DraftKings Sportsbook at time of publishing.
There is a ton of injury uncertainty on the 49ers side of things, so I’m going to keep this handicap pretty simple. Regardless of who ends up playing for the 49ers on Sunday, San Francisco should look to get the ball in Christian McCaffrey’s hands as much as possible, and that plan shouldn’t change regardless of time and score. After all, McCaffrey has a strong case for being the most impactful offensive player in the sport this season given his workload and high usage rate as an all-purpose running back in Kyle Shanahan’s offense. The 49ers might only score 1 or 2 touchdowns in this game, but it’s almost certain that McCaffrey will get plenty of looks in the red zone both on the ground, and out of the backfield as a receiving threat.

Eagles anytime touchdown scorer prediction: Dallas Goedert (+195)
Odds available at FanDuel Sportsbook at time of publishing.
The Eagles offense has not exactly been a unit worth celebrating this season, but one constant in the Philadelphia passing game has been the consistent presence of Dallas Goedert. The veteran tight end has served as a valuable security blanket of sorts for Jalen Hurts throughout the season, and he’s been a focal point within this offense over the last couple of months. Just in his last 3 games played, Goedert has 4 touchdowns and he tallied 11 touchdowns over 16 games played this season. With that in mind, the Eagles tight end should be able to exploit a weak 49ers defense and it wouldn’t shock me if he found the end zone in the first half of this crucial game.
