The NBA season is in full swing and there have been a lot of surprises already. Who saw the Warriors troubles coming? Who thought that the Wolves would actually look better without Jimmy Butler?

With the NBA season continuing into the holiday season there are going to be some more surprises, so let’s break down my five Bold NBA Predictions for the upcoming week of the basketball season.

The Wizards start Selling

There have been rumors swirling that John Wall and Bradley Beal are both available for trade, and I think that the upper management of the Wizards understands they won’t be winning with the team that is on the court.

I think that the Wizards start first with trading Bradley Beal this weekend, and I wouldn’t be surprised if John Wall is gone soon after.

The Wizards know a rebuild is on the horizon so I expect back draft picks and new younger players that the team can build around.  When the Wizards start selling it’s going to be a firesale and I think that will happen sooner rather than later.

Green and Durant’s Relationship gets worse.

I know that Kevin Durant and Draymond Green are saying the right thing publically after their blowout that saw Green get suspended for a game, but I don’t think it’s the last time we have heard about it.

The Warriors aren’t used to losing and with Curry out this team has really struggled. They have tough games against the Trail Blazers and Kings, and I think they will lose both of those games. The pressure from losing those games will boil over with Green and Durant going after each other again.

This is going to be the latest step pushing Durant out of Golden State and onto the Los Angeles Lakers this summer.  The Warriors can’t get Curry back fast enough, because it’s clear he is the glue that holds this whole team together.

Butler and Fultz don’t get along

It was reported that Markelle Fultz was leaving the 76ers to go see a shoulder specialist, but I think his departure from the team actually has more to do with Butler.

Butler was asked about Fultz’s shot when he got to Philly and said he thought it was more of a mental thing rather than a physical thing and that can’t be sitting well with Fultz. Butler can be a bit harsh on his teammates and I think he has already been doing that with Fultz. Don’t be shocked when the report comes out for the real reason from staying away from the team.

Carmelo Anthony signs with the Lakers

There hasn’t been much buzz about Carmelo Anthony since it was announced his time with the Rockets was done but I think he gets a new job this week.

He gets along well with LeBron and I think GM LeBron signs him to a contract to join him in Los Angeles.

Cavaliers trade Kyle Korver

All the talk around the Cavaliers are about trading JR Smith, but I think the first guy to be traded will be Kyle Korver. He really serves no purpose on the Cavs right now and a team is always looking for a dead-eye shot from downtown.
