We have made it to week seven of the NBA season and there have already been a ton of surprises. Did anyone see this start coming from the Grizzlies? Who thought the Warriors locker room would be in shambles? Did anyone think Markelle Fultz would be dealing with another should injury? Well maybe everyone did see that coming. There are bound to be plenty more surprises this week so let’s break down my five bold NBA predictions for this week.

The Celtics continue to struggle

Looking at the Celtics upcoming schedule it really shouldn’t be that difficult and it’s a good chance to get their season back on track.

Their next four games are against the Cavaliers, Timberwolves, Knicks, and Bulls and they should be favored in three of the four games.

Their defense has really struggled as of late, and I think that will continue in this stretch. In their last three losses they have given up at least 113 points and I think that will lead them to only securing one victory over the next four.

Derrick Rose continues to get minutes in crunch time

The Derrick Rose comeback tour has continued with the Timberwolves this year and I think his play will continue to improve. Over the last few games Rose has actually gotten the playing time over Andrew Wiggins in crunch time and that will continue.

On the season Rose is averaging 19.1 points in 30 minutes per game. I’m not sure he will go for over 50 again this week, but I Think he will have a 35 point game.

Bradley Beal is traded

The reports are circulating that Bradley Beal wants out of Washington and even though he is refuting that he wants that, I think a trade will get done in the next week.

The news gets weirder and weirder coming out of Washington and it’s clear that the team needs to make a trade or two to change up the locker room.

Beal evidently has a bigger trade marker than John Wall, so I think that is the guy they try and ship out.

Fultz situation gets uglier

There has been a lot of talk about Markelle Fultz the last few weeks for all the wrong reasons. His shoulder injury is evidently back, and now he is off to see his own specialists.

This injury has all the makings of Kawhi Leonard 2.0. I think he will continue to say his shoulder is bothering him, while the team thinks he is fine to play.

The only way this issue will solve itself is with a trade and Fultz has played his last game with the Sixers.

Kings fall back to earth

The Kings have lost two games in a row, and I think they will continue to fall. This is a team that can score a ton but doesn’t play a lick of defense, and that is catching up with them.

The next two games for the Kings are against the Clippers and Pacers and I think they will lose both of them, in blowout fashion.
