5 Bold NFL Predictions for Week 13 of the 2018 season

We are into week 13 of the NFL season and that just like every other week this season there are going to be some things that shock us. Not many people had the Steelers beating the Broncos during Week 12, but they got the job down. So what is going to shock us this week? Let’s break down my five bold NFL predictions for week 13.

Tom Brady struggles….Again

The Vikings defense is figuring it out and they kept Aaron Rodgers and the Packers offense out of their rhythm in their last game. A big reason for the Rodgers struggles was the constant pressure he was under all night.

The Vikings weren’t blitzing a ton and most of the pressure was from the front four. That same defense should be able to wreak havoc again. Rodgers threw for only 198 yards against the Vikings and I think that is right about where Brady ends up.

Colts and Jaguars combine for 60+

Everyone knows what the Andrew Luck can do and against the Jaguars offense I think he is going to have no issue getting his point, but there is nothing bold about saying that.

I think the guy who is going to surprise the league is Cody Kesler. The Jaguars don’t run a very difficult offense, and as long as Kesler hit’s the open guys, the guys Bortles couldn’t hit, they should have no issue in this game.

I think Kessler throws at least three touchdowns and this game ends right around 34 – 27 Colts.

Patrick Mahomes doesn’t play in the second half

The Chiefs offense is elite average 36.7 points per game and they will be going against a Raiders defense on Sunday that is giving up 29.7 points per game.

The Raiders have been getting off to slow starts this year and Patrick Mahomes is going to light them up early. The Chiefs will put up 35 points or more in the first half and that will allow Mahomes to enjoy the second half holding the clipboard.

Jeff Driskel leads the Bengals to a victory

With Andy Dalton going to the IR, it’s now the Jeff Driskel show for the Cincinnati Bengals and people are really down them.

The Bengals are sitting as underdogs but I think they will not only cover the spread but win this game outright.  Case Keenum has struggled on the road, and I think that will lead to a lot of short fields for the Driskel and the Bengals offense.

It’s going to be a low scoring game, but the Bengals will do just enough to come away with a victory.

Eagles playoff hopes are dashed

The Eagles have slight hopes for the playoffs and I think after their game this Sunday, those will be gone. The Eagles had trouble beating a bad Giants team, and even with Colt McCoy starting for the Redskins I think they are a better team.

McCoy will clean up the mistakes he made against the Cowboys and throw two touchdowns and no interceptions, and that will be enough to lead the Redskins to victory.
