Week 15 was once again filled with surprises starting with the Kansas City Chiefs blowing a big lead against the Los Angeles Chargers on Thursday night. There is no doubt going to be more surprises this week as teams are fighting for playoff spots so let’s breakdown by five bold predictions for week 16.

Vikings Clinch Playoff spot in convincing fashion

The Vikings need to win on Sunday and have the Eagles and Redskins both lose to lock up their spot in the playoffs and I think both those things will happen.

The Vikings won’t just win their game against the Lions though, they will do it in dominating fashion. The Vikings won the first game 24-9 against the Lions this year and this beating will be even worse than that.

The Vikings defensive line is going to wreak havoc all afternoon and that will lead to the Lions scoring less than ten points.

Chiefs beat Seahawks by at least ten points

The Seahawks are 1-1 in their last two games but they really should probably be 0-2 and I think they will get blown out by the Chiefs. Two games ago they beat the Vikings 21-7 but the offense was terrible all game.

The Chiefs offense is going to get back on the right track against the Seahawks and their offense isn’t going to be able to keep up.

The Chiefs will put up at least 30 points and the run game of the Seahawks won’t be enough to keep up.

Dalvin Cook has 200 + yards from scrimmage

With a new offensive coordinator, the Minnesota Vikings are back to running the ball and in the first game with the new system, Dalvin Cook rushed for 136 yards and two touchdowns.

The Lions are supposed to have a good defense but Cook ran for over 89 yards on 10 carries the first time they played and Cook was maybe at 70 percent health in that game.

He is going to run wild in this game and I think he is going to finish with a few long runs which will help him finish with over 200 yards on the game.

Sam Darnold outperforms Aaron Rodgers

Sam Darnold and Aaron Rodgers are facing off on Sunday and I think Darnold will be the better quarterback in this game. Darnold is playing better as of late and in his last game he threw for 253 yards and two touchdowns against a good Texans defense.

Aaron Rodgers is playing injured and seems to have checked out of this season. He hasn’t thrown for more than 274 yards in each of the last four games and I don’t think he will throw for more than 250 yards in this game.

Mayfield throws for four touchdowns, again

The first time the Browns played the Bengals this year Mayfield threw for 258 yards and four touchdowns, and I think he will do that again in this game.

The Bengals defense is terrible, and they have shown nothing this year that gives me confidence they will stop them. This one is going to get ugly early because Mayfield is going to air it out.
