Week 17 of the 2025 NFL regular season is upon us, and it is highlighted in part by a Sunday Night Football showdown between the Chicago Bears and San Francisco 49ers. It is another game against a playoff team from a year ago for Chicago following its wild victory against the Packers last week, while the 49ers are looking for a victory in order to keep pace in the race for the NFC West crown and the #1 overall seed in the conference. Here are my best TD scorer bets for SNF, and also be sure to check out our full Bears vs 49ers predictions.
Bears anytime touchdown scorer best bet: Kyle Monangai (+145)

The Bears offense has been a pretty balanced unit during their incredible run of success over the last two months, and much of that has to do with the way head coach Ben Johnson has been able to created avenues for his team to thrive both on the ground and through the air. Chicago has employed a 2-headed monster at running back for the last 10 weeks now, and it’s no coincidence that the Bears offense has improved with Kyle Monangai getting more snaps. The Rutgers product has tallied 5 touchdowns over his last 10 games played, and he’ll have a chance to add another score this week against a 49ers defense that has struggled to stop the run (31st in success rate allowed, 23rd in EPA per rush). Let’s look for Monangai to keep his recent momentum going in this one.
49ers anytime touchdown scorer best bet: Jauan Jennings (+105)
Odds available at FanDuel Sportsbook at time of publishing.
San Francisco has dealt with cluster injuries on offense all season long, and Kyle Shanahan’s team is likely to be without tight end George Kittle — who is one of the most important pieces to the 49ers passing game — in Sunday’s matchup. However, regardless of if Kittle suits up or not, the 49ers should have confidence in wide receiver Jauan Jennings to find the end zone for the ninth time this season. With all of the injuries in the San Francisco offense, Jennings has stepped up in a big way to fill the top wide receiver role in 2025, and he’s established a great rapport with Brock Purdy in a short period of time. Purdy should be looking Jennings’ way often, especially on key downs in the red zone, so let’s back the Tennessee product to find the end zone once again.
