Week 17 of the 2025 NFL campaign continues with a Sunday Night Football matchup between the Chicago Bears and San Francisco. It is a potential NFC Championship preview, as both teams storm into this contest with 11-4 records.
I have been cashing Same Game Parlays left and right throughout the 2025 season, including 2 of my 4 efforts during Week 16 (+650 in Packers vs Bears and +600 in 49ers vs Colts). I also nailed both of my player prop bets for Cowboys vs Commanders on Thursday. Let’s keep the momentum rolling with my SGP for this 8:20 pm ET kickoff on NBC. Also be sure to check out our full Bears vs 49ers predictions.
Bears ML (+136)
Over 52.5 (-110)
D.J. Moore to score a touchdown (+130)
Parlay odds: +675
Part of the value in a Same Game Parlay, of course, is that all of its components can be correlated if you so choose. That is the entire plan here, as Chicago receiver D.J. Moore scoring a touchdown would obviously work well with both a Bears win and the over. Let’s break down each of the 3 legs.
Bears ML (+136)
At 11-4, we have seen enough to be believers in the Bears. I’m not saying they are going to win the Super Bowl, but this is a very good team. It’s one that could certainly win on Sunday night in San Francisco. Head coach Ben Johnson and quarterback Caleb Williams have the offense in fine form, while the defense does just enough to get the job done more often than not. Williams delivered another efficient performance in last week’s incredible comeback against the Packers (the Bears won 22-16 in OT), completing 19 of 34 for 250 yards and 2 touchdowns. He also rushed 3 times for 30 yards, converting several key first downs with his feet. The 49ers are also playing well, but a majority of their victories have come at the expense of lower-level competition. They are also playing on a short week after beating Indianapolis on Monday Night Football. In what feels like a coin toss kind of matchup, Chicago has good value as an underdog.
Over 52.5 (-110)
San Francisco was unstoppable on offense against the Colts. Head coach Kyle Shanahan’s club racked up 440 total yards and 28 first downs. The offense is almost entirely healthy for once and getting along nicely behind Brock Purdy, Christian McCaffrey and George Kittle. That trio should be able to victimize a below-average Chicago defense. Unfortunately for the Niners, there is no reason to think their defense will contain an in-form Bears offense. San Francisco is dead last in the NFL in sacks (18) by a country mile and only the Jets (zero) have picked off fewer passes (6 INTs for the 49ers). Williams has the third-lowest interception rate in the league, so there is no reason to think that the home side is suddenly going to start forcing turnovers in this matchup. I’m expecting both offenses to have plenty of success this weekend.
D.J. Moore to score a touchdown (+130)
Moore was the protagonist of my successful Week 16 Same Game Parlay involving the Bears. With an assist from the thriller against Green Bay going to overtime, Moore exceeded his yardage quota and scored a touchdown – the walkoff winner. I’m going right back to the well and backing the Maryland product to find the endzone once again on Sunday. He has scored 3 TDs in the past 2 contests and 5 in the past 5. Moore now faces a San Francisco defense that has surrendered 27 touchdowns through the air – tied for the sixth most in the NFL.
