The Packers went into Dallas as an underdog of over 7 points and beat the Cowboys without much of a fight. Next, Green Bay has a matchup with the #1 seed in the NFC, the 49ers. The total for this game has been set above 50 points, so oddsmakers are expecting plenty of points. With that in mind, let’s take a look at my touchdown scorer best bets for this NFL playoffs Divisional Round matchup. Make sure you also read our NFL picks for every game this weekend, as our experts look to add to their +50.4 units of profit so far this season.

Green Bay Packers touchdown scorer best bet: Aaron Jones (+105)

Aaron Jones faced one of the best rushing defenses in the NFL last week, but you wouldn’t be able to tell that from his stat line. Jones pummeled the Dallas defense for 118 yards on 21 carries and he found the end zone 3 separate times. He was able to get almost all of the carries because AJ Dillon was injured and unable to suit up, and it seems that might be the case again since Dillon is still nursing a neck and thumb injury. That puts Jones in line to have another big day since he will likely get at least 16 carries against the 49ers.

Plus, oddsmakers are expecting a lot of points since the total has been set north of 50 points. Jordan Love put the league on notice last week against the Cowboys, and if he can have a performance that is somewhat close to that one, he should be able to give Jones several opportunities in the red zone.

San Francisco 49ers touchdown scorer best bet: George Kittle (+145)

I raced to the counter to place this one. Last week, the Packers defense couldn’t defend Jake Ferguson. The Dallas tight end finished with 12 targets, 10 receptions, 93 yards and 3 touchdowns. The Green Bay defense was so focused on CeeDee Lamb and Brandin Cooks in the secondary that it left the middle of the field wide open for Ferguson. I’m expecting the same situation against the 49ers since Deebo Samuel and Brandon Aiyuk will be the deep threats for Brock Purdy, and George Kittle should be able to break off into the middle of the field for an easy catch. Kittle and Ferguson are very similar in the fact they are both solid blocking tight ends, but they are also incredibly useful in the passing game. Purdy loved to target Kittle for deep plays in the regular season and that shouldn’t change in the Divisional Round.
