The week in Major League Baseball continues with a full 15-game slate on Friday. The lineup includes Tigers vs Phillies, Astros vs Red Sox, Cardinals vs Padres and Rangers vs Mariners. There are more than enough betting opportunities with which to work, so let’s try to take advantage and kick off the weekend in style. Here are my MLB parlay picks for today, while you can also check out all of our MLB picks for EVERY GAME on Friday, August 1.

Milwaukee Brewers -1.5 over Washington Nationals (+109)

Don’t look now, but the Brewers are the best team in baseball. They are 20 games over .500 and boast an 8-4 record since the all-star break. They are 15-4 in their last 19 overall. Milwaukee should be able to keep it going at the expense of a lowly Washington squad. The Nationals are 20 games under .500 and are just as bad at home (21-32) as they are on the road. Things probably won’t get any better for the home team since Milwaukee is sending Jose Quintana to the mound. Quintana is 7-4 with a 3.50 ERA and the Brewers have won 10 of his 15 starts this season – 7 of those by multiple runs. With a full 9 innings’ worth of at-bats guaranteed as the visiting side, Milwaukee should be able to cover the run line to kickstart today’s MLB parlay.

Colorado Rockies ML over Pittsburgh Pirates (+120)

The Rockies will never be the most reliable team to win a baseball game, but they have good value as underdogs on Friday. Colorado is a solid 6-6 since the all-star break and it is facing another terrible team in Pittsburgh. The Pirates are actually playing well at the moment, but I just refuse to believe this club can win 6 games in a row – at least not without Paul Skenes pitching today. Andrew Heaney certainly isn’t Skenes. The left-hander is 5-9 with a 4.79 ERA and he has been especially bad this summer. Heaney compiled a 5.57 ERA in June and a 9.00 ERA in July. I don’t care that Antonio Senzatela is on the mound for the Rockies; they can still outscore an anemic Pirates lineup and look good at +120 odds.

All eyes on tonight’s MLB best bets, with our experts boasting a 111-81 record this season!

Arizona Diamondbacks vs Athletics Under 9.5 (-110)

The Diamondbacks basically traded away everyone prior to the trade deadline – including Eugenio Suarez, who went to the Mariners. Arizona’s offense was already struggling; it has scored 2 runs or fewer in 5 consecutive contests. This club has not crossed the plate more than 3 times in a game since July 20. You can’t make this stuff up, folks. Meanwhile, the Athletics have limited opponents to 2, 2, 3, 1, 1, 3, 1 and 4 runs over their last 8 outings. Anthony DeSclafani of the D-backs and Jacob Lopez of the A’s are by no means terrible pitchers, so they should be able to keep these lineups at least somewhat in check. I’ll happily back another low-scoring affair.
