MLB parlay pick: Milwaukee Brewers -1.5 over Miami Marlins (-108)
To start off our MLB parlay, let’s take the Milwaukee Brewers to win by multiple runs at home. Not only have the Brewers won 5 of their last 6 since the all-star break (and 12 of their last 13 overall), but Freddy Peralta will get the ball to kickstart this 3-game series. Peralta enters the contest with a 12-4 record and a 2.85 ERA on the season. He’s also been dominant lately, winning 7 consecutive starts while posting a 3.18 ERA during that stretch. As for the Marlins, Miami will send out Cal Quantrill, who holds a 5.24 ERA and should be expected to struggle against a Brewers lineup that is tallying over 6 runs per game over their last 9 contests. Let’s back a blowout in Milwaukee on Friday.

MLB parlay pick: Diamondbacks vs Pirates Under 9 (-114)
For the 2nd leg of our MLB parlay, we’re off to Pittsburgh for a showdown between the Diamondbacks and Pirates. Arizona entered this season with a host of expectations, but the Diamondbacks are selling at the deadline, a fact that has been made clear by Josh Naylor being traded to the Mariners on Thursday. However, Arizona starter Ryne Nelson has allowed just 6 combined earned runs in 6 of his last 7 outings. On the other side, Mike Burrows is getting the ball for Milwaukee, and he just delivered 5 innings of 2-run ball while tallying 6 strikeouts in his last outing. With both bullpens rested following a day off, the Under is the only way I can look in this one.

MLB parlay pick: Nationals vs Twins Under 8.5 (-114)
To close out our MLB parlay, let’s back the Nationals and Twins to stay under 8.5 runs on Friday. MacKenzie Gore is set to make yet another start for the Nationals, and he’s been very strong this season, even earning an appearance in the MLB All-Star Game last week. Additionally, Minnesota’s offense has performed significantly worse against left-handed pitching this season, and I expect Gore to rebound nicely with a strong outing against a weaker foe.
On the other side, Minnesota is going with Zebby Matthews on the mound on Saturday, who is coming off a difficult start on the road, albeit in Colorado in what were very hitter-friendly Coors Field conditions. Despite all of that, Matthews’ prospect pedigree and his pitcher profile suggest that he should attack the Brewers’ lineup with ferocity. Let’s back a low-scoring game in Minneapolis.
