A new week in Major League Baseball begins with a 12-game slate on Monday. It’s an intriguing schedule that headlined by Mets vs Red Sox, Guardians vs Twins, Tigers vs Cardinals, Royals vs Giants and Diamondbacks vs Dodgers. There are more than enough betting opportunities, so let’s try to take advantage.

MLB parlay odds: +861
Boston Red Sox ML over New York Mets (+120)
Boston dropped 2 of 3 to Atlanta over the weekend, but the good news is that Rafael Devers is absolutely raking. He is batting .417 this month with 8 multi-hit performances, including 3 games with 3 hits and another with 4. It’s a can’t-miss hitter-vs-pitcher matchup with Kodai Senga taking the mound for New York. Senga has been awesome this season, but don’t overlook the fact that he has walked 10 batters in 3 May starts. Devers and company may be able to take advantage of any control issues. The Red Sox are countering with Hunter Dobbins, who is 2-1 with a 3.90 ERA and a 23-to-4 strikeout-to-walk ratio. Boston has a good value as a home underdog on Monday night.
Kansas City Royals ML over San Francisco Giants (+110)
Getting Kris Bubic as an underdog is value I want to grab without much hesitation. The left-hander is 4-2 with a 1.66 ERA, 1.10 WHIP and a 56-to-15 strikeout-to-walk ratio in 54.1 innings of work this season. So far in May he has allowed 1 run in 3 starts across 18.1 innings. The Royals may not be playing great at the moment, but they at least have some momentum after picking up a 2-1 victory over St. Louis in their series finale on Sunday. It is true that San Francisco starter Robbie Ray is 6-0, but his ERA isn’t exactly unbelievable (3.04) and his strikeout-to-walk ratio is barely better than 2-to-1. That he has issued 26 free passes in 50.1 innings is rather alarming. Bobby Witt Jr. and the rest of the gang may be able to give Bubic enough run support to pull off a minor upset.
Los Angeles Angels ML over Oakland Athletics (+108)
Break up the Angels! The most improbable series of the 2025 season to date took place over the weekend at Dodger Stadium, where the Angels pulled off a 3-game sweep against the best team in baseball. In fact, the visitors won all 3 contests by multiple runs. Needless to say, manager Ron Washington’s club is rolling into a 4-game set with the Athletics. The A’s started the year relatively strong (at least by their lowly standards), but now they are going the wrong way. This team is in the midst of a 5-game losing streak and has been outscored by 33 runs in those 5 contests. The A’s are going with J.T. Ginn (4.61 ERA, 1.54 WHIP), while the Halos are sending Jose Soriano (3.46 ERA) to the mound. Look for these 2 AL West rivals to continue going in opposite directions.
