A new week in the MLB season is finally here and we have a solid 9-game slate of action on the diamond for us to enjoy on Monday. An intriguing schedule is on our hands, headlined by a massive series between the Dodgers and Padres — while the Cubs take on the Phillies and the Diamondbacks square off against the Mariners. There are more than enough betting opportunities on the card, so let’s try to take advantage with a 3-leg MLB parlay for the proceedings. Below are my MLB parlay picks for Monday, June 9, while you can also find out our MLB picks for EVERY game today.

Padres team total over 3.5 (-120)

Diamondbacks -1.5 (+120)

Blue Jays vs Cardinals Over 8.5 (-110)

MLB parlay odds: +670

MLB parlay pick: San Diego Padres team total over 3.5 (-120)

To start off our MLB parlay, I’ll take the Padres to exceed their team total of 3.5 against the Los Angeles Dodgers. This is a heated rivalry, one that has produced many great games over the last few seasons, and the common theme in these regular-season meetings tends to be offense. Both of these lineups have the ability to make things hard on opposing pitchers, but I like that value we’re getting with the home team against Dustin May (4.46 xERA, .265 xBA, 43% hard-hit rate), a pitcher who is a bit too inconsistent to trust against a quality opponent on the road. It certainly helps matters that the likes of Manny Machado, Jake Cronenworth and Fernando Tatis Jr. have all faced May plenty of times, so this is a unit that is familiar with how to hit the lanky right-hander.

MLB parlay pick: Arizona Diamondbacks -1.5 over Seattle Mariners (+120)

For the 2nd leg of our MLB parlay, we’re off to Arizona and I’ll take the Diamondbacks on the run line. Emerson Hancock is the weakest starting pitcher in the Seattle Mariners’ starting rotation, and his weaknesses are exposable against a lineup as potent as Arizona’s. Not only do the Diamondbacks thrive against right-handed pitching, leading baseball in wOBA against righties since May 1, but Hancock struggles to generate strikeouts, and the Diamondbacks are not a team that strikes out much.

On the other side, Merrill Kelly enters this game following 7 scoreless frames in a tough matchup with the Braves. The veteran right-hander has been outstanding at home this season, something that has been true for several years now, and he gets a Mariners lineup that ranks within the bottom 5 in wOBA against righties over the past month. Ultimately, Arizona has the matchup advantages in this game, and I’m expecting a convincing victory.

MLB parlay pick: Toronto Blue Jays vs St. Louis Cardinals Over 8.5 (-110)

To close out our MLB parlay, let’s back the Over between the Blue Jays and Cardinals. Cardinals starter Andre Pallante just allowed 7 earned runs in 4.1 innings of work against a struggling Royals lineup in his last start, and he’s produced fairly middling results over the course of the season thus far. His life won’t get any easier against a Toronto lineup that ranks 4th in wOBA with a 121 wRC+ against right-handed pitching over the past month. During that same span, the Cardinals are ranked 10th in wOBA with a 109 wRC+ against right-handed pitching, and they’ll face Jose Berrios (.461 xERA) on Monday. All things considered, I expect runs from both sides in this one.
