Since graduating from Davidson (The College That Stephen Curry Built), I have been writing about sports -- just about any and all you can think of! -- and coaching tennis in Atlanta, GA. Beyond the four major sports, I am an avid tennis fan and cover the ATP Tour on a daily basis. If I'm not busy writing, you can generally find me on a tennis court or traveling the world wherever a sporting event takes me. For Ricky Dimon media enquiries, please email contact@pickswise.com.

Another week in Major League Baseball begins with a full 15-game slate on Sunday. The lineup includes Phillies vs Yankees, Blue Jays vs Tigers, Dodgers vs Red Sox, Padres vs Cardinals and Mets vs Giants. There are more than enough betting opportunities with which to work, so let’s try to take advantage.

Below is my mega parlay, and also be sure to check out all of our MLB picks.

Blue Jays ML (+106)

Brewers -1.5 (+140)

Mariners -1.5 (+100)

MLB parlay odds: +889

Toronto Blue Jays ML over Detroit Tigers (+106)

The Tigers continue to struggle. Toronto won again on Saturday, pushing Detroit’s losing streak to 6 games. Even with Tarik Skubal on the mound, the Tigers still came up short. The slump will end at some point, but today might not be that day. Although the pitching matchup should favor Detroit a bit, Jack Flaherty is nothing special. His ceiling these days is higher than Max Scherzer’s, but his floor is arguably lower. Flaherty can be really bad at times. The Tigers’ offense is lifeless ad their bullpe has a ton of holes. Give me Toroto as a small underdog.

Milwaukee Brewers -1.5 over Miami Marlins (+140)

This pitching matchup is Eury Perez of the Marlins vs Brandon Woodruff of the Brewers. Perez has heated up to some extent of late, but he faces a Milwaukee club that is batting .264 over the past 6 games. The Brewers also recorded 11 hits during last night’s loss. Meanwhile, Woodruff has looked great in all 3 of his starts in 2025 since returning from injury (16.1 innings, 3 runs on 9 hits allowed). He is a big part of why the Brewers have been so hot – or at least they were prior to this series. Milwaukee boasts one of the lowest bullpen ERAs in baseball over the past few weeks. I don’t see Miami scoring much at all this afternoon, so I’ll back Milwaukee -1.5.

Seattle Mariners -1.5 over Los Angeles Angels (+100)

The Mariners picked up a 7-2 victory on Saturday, when George Kirby turned in a stellar start and Cal Raleigh hit his 40th homer of the year. They improved to 5-3 in 8 games against the Angels this season. Los Angeles just 1-5 in the past 6 games and has scored 3 or fewer runs in each of the past 5. Seattle is going with Logan Gilbert, who is 3-3 with a 3.07 ERA and 0.98 WHIP across 67.1 innings. The Angels are countering with veteran Kyle Hendricks, who has a 5-7 record, 4.92 ERA and 1.29 WHIP across 19 starts while allowing opponents to hit .280 against him at home. I’ll happily back the visitors to win and cover.
