MLB parlay pick: SF Giants vs Toronto Blue Jays Under 8 (-105)

To start off our MLB parlay, let’s take the under in this contest between the Giants and Blue Jays. This pitching matchup is one that instantly points me in the direction of the under, as Robbie Ray gets the ball for the Giants and Jose Berrios will take the mound for the Blue Jays. Ray holds a 2.65 ERA on the season, and he’s been especially impressive of late against the likes of the Dodgers, Phillies and Diamondbacks. On the other side, Berrios will be facing a Giants lineup that sits near the bottom of the league in team batting average this season (.229), and both bullpens sit inside the top 10 in ERA on the year. I’ll gladly back the under on Sunday.

MLB parlay pick: SD Padres vs Washington Nationals Under 8 (-104)

For the 2nd leg of our MLB parlay, we’re off to Washington for a matchup between the Padres and Nationals. Nick Pivetta and MacKenzie Gore faced off against each other just a few weeks ago in a game that the Padres won by a 1-0 scoreline. As usual, the Nationals gave Gore very little run support, wasting an excellent start from their ace in the process. In fact, both starters have been tremendous all year, with varying degrees of run support in their outings to show for it. There’s no reason to think we won’t see a repeat performance from both guys on Sunday. With a pair of dominant pitchers on the mound, all signs point to a lower-scoring affair in the nation’s capital.

MLB parlay pick: Philadelphia Phillies -1.5 over LA Angels (+114)

To close out our MLB parlay, let’s back the Phillies on the run line. Philadelphia is fresh off a commanding victory on Saturday, and the Phillies power bats should thrive against Angels starter Jose Soriano, who has allowed 5 runs or more in 3 of his last 4 outings. It certainly doesn’t help matters for Los Angeles that the Angels bullpen has been a mess in recent weeks. As for the hosts, Philadelphia is countering with the ever dependable Ranger Suarez, who has surrendered 2 runs or fewer in 9 of his last 10 outings. As long as Suarez pitches like his usual self and the Phillies can scratch across a few early runs off Soriano, Philadelphia should be well on its way to a victory by multiple runs.
