The MLB postseason is rapidly approaching, and the stakes of each remaining regular season game are heightened as a result. Saturday’s MLB slate of action is jam-packed with entertaining matchups and potentially profitable betting angles. This article covers our 2 favorite player prop bets for the slate of games, so let’s dive in!

Noah Cameron (KCR) Under 2.5 earned runs allowed (-160)

Odds available at DraftKings sportsbook at time of publishing. Playable to -170 odds.

Noah Cameron is set to make his 16th start of the season for the Kansas City Royals on Saturday, and I am looking forward to a productive outing from the left-hander. Cameron has been productive in his 87.1 innings of work, earning a 1.01 WHIP and 2.68 ERA in that span. He has remained under 2.5 earned runs allowed in 11 of his first 15 outings and is now set for a favorable matchup against the Twins. Cameron faced Minnesota back in May, tossing 6.2 innings of 1-run ball while earning a career-best 8 strikeouts.

Minnesota has struggled with southpaw pitching all season long, failing to produce at a league average rate for the season, and that was before the team sold several key pieces during the trade deadline. The Twins were one of the league’s largest sellers at the deadline, shipping away production in hopes for a brighter future. As a result, Minnesota is starting a depleted new-look lineup; I expect Cameron to thrive in this spot.

Andre Pallante (STL) 2+ walks allowed (-160)

Odds available at DraftKings sportsbook at time of publishing. Playable to -170 odds.

Andre Pallante has made 22 starts so far in 2025 for the St. Louis Cardinals, issuing 2 or more free passes in 14 of those appearances. The right-hander has allowed 3 or more walks in 6 of those outings including his last trip to the mound. That most recent effort resulted in 5.0 innings of work against San Diego, issuing 3 free passes to the 22 batters he faced. On the season, Pallante throws strikes just 61.1% of the time. Among 109 qualified pitchers that ranks tied for the fifth-lowest mark this season. Pallante struggles to throw strikes, and his stuff is not good enough to consistently make up for that lack of command.

On the season Pallante has allowed 40 free passes in his 122.0 innings of work, issuing a walk every 12.97 batters he faces. Pallante has already faced the Chicago Cubs once this season, issuing 2 walks in his 5.0 innings at the end of June. The Cubs have been a patient lineup for the majority of the season, willing to drag out long at bats and take the fourth ball for a free base. There are multiple sources of patience in the Cubs lineup, and I expect that depth to pay off from a walks perspective in this matchup.
