The weekend is just around the corner and the NBA has a perfect warm-up for us with a 7-game slate, including an NBA TV doubleheader. It all starts at 7:00 pm ET with the Atlanta Hawks and Detroit Pistons squaring off, followed by an intense clash between the Minnesota Timberwolves and Golden State Warriors at 10:00 pm ET. I’ve combed through all 7 matchups and given my NBA best bets for every single one of them. Let’s dive in, while you can also check out our expert NBA picks for all of this season’s games, including predictions for both NBA Cup semifinals on Saturday.
Bulls vs Hornets best bet: Hornets ML (+118)
The Bulls have been a disaster over their last 7 games, losing all 7 while posting the lowest efficiency numbers on offense in the entire NBA. Charlotte got Brandon Miller back from injury, with him in the line-up they’re 4-4 on the season.
Hawks vs Pistons best bet: Hawks +7.5 (-110)
These two were neck and neck in both meetings this season, Atlanta will have something to say in Friday’s game. Jalen Johnson is playing at an elite level, Detroit probably wins but it’s a close finish.
Pacers vs 76ers best bet: Pacers +7 (-110)
Indiana has the better head-to-head record here, I’m just not comfortable with the idea that the 76ers are 7-point favorites. They’re only .500 at home this season and just lost to a Lakers team failing to defend against a 40-year old LeBron James.

Cavaliers vs Wizards best bet: Cavaliers -15 (-106)
Cleveland has won 13 straight vs Washington, the last 5 were all decided by double-digits. They won the earlier meeting this season scoring over 140 points, they should dominate here as well.

Jazz vs Grizzlies best bet: Under 240.5 (-112)
The Grizzlies defense has come to life. They held their last 4 of 5 opponents to 107 or less points and their last 2 under 100. Utah won’t be able to score enough to push us over the total here.
Nets vs Mavericks best bet: Over 221.5 (-110)
I am hesitant to pull the trigger on Dallas here, even though they’re the better team on paper they’ve disappointed me far too many times this season. Instead, let’s back the points. Dallas is putting up 119.2 and the Nets are scoring 111.4 points per game over their last 5 outings.
Timberwolves vs Warriors best bet: Warriors -3.5 (-110)
With Ant-Man potentially missing this game, I have to go with the Warriors. They’re 7-3 SU in home games, while the T-Wolves have covered just once in 5 on the road.
