Best NBA Bets Today: Odds & Picks for every game on Friday, December 26

Long-time NBA fan, following the game closely for 21 years now. Joined the Pickswise writing staff for the 2020-21 season and have given out winning picks since. Hopefully we can make some money together! Oh, and I firmly believe Lebron James is not one of the two best basketball players of all time. Yeah, I said it. The Christmas festivities are behind us and the NBA resumes its regular scheduled program. Friday brings us 9 more exciting matchups, with a Prime Video double-header to keep an eye on. The 76ers and Bulls clash at 1.30 pm ET, followed by an exciting duel between the Trail Blazers and Clippers at 10 pm ET.

I’ve prepared an NBA Best Bet for all 9 games, combining Spread Picks, Totals and Player Prop bets. Odds are courtesy of FanDuel, head over to our NBA Picks page for a deeper analysis of tonight’s game. Let’s get into my bets now!

Heat vs Hawks Best Bet: Over 245.5 (-114)

Expect a lot of points in Hawks games from now on after Trae Young’s return from injury. The over has cashed in 6 of their last 8, just a couple of games ago we saw over 300 points in their game vs Chicago. Back the over against the highest paced team the Miami Heat here.

Hornets vs Magic Best Bet: Kon Knueppel Over 18.5 Pts (-108)

Kon Knueppel is in a dead heat with Cooper Flagg for the Rookie of the Year award. He’s been on a scoring binge lately, cashing on his over 5 games in a row. I’ll back him to do it again on Friday vs a Magic team that just got back from a grueling 4-game West coast trip.

Raptors vs Wizards Best Bet: Immanuel Quickley Over 2.5 Threes (-122)

He’s cashed on this line 9 times in 16 road games and 4 times in head-to-head meetings with the Wizards since 2020. Washington allows the 2nd most threes this season and the 2nd most to opposing shooting guards.

Celtics vs Pacers Best Bet: Under 221.5 (-108)

For today’s NBA standards 221.5 points sounds very low, but even that could be too big of an ask from these two teams. Their first meeting of the season saw just 198 points, Indiana has failed to clear the 100 point mark 3 times in 5 games.

76ers vs Bulls Best Bet: Under 239.5 (-110)

The under is 9-1 in 10 meetings with just 215.1 points per game scored. I wouldn’t expect too many points to be scored here, after seeing just 224 in the first meeting back in early November.

Suns vs Pelicans Best Bet: Devin Booker 2+ Made Threes (-200)

Booker has cashed on this line twice in 3 games played. In head-to-head meetings he’s done it 15 times in 20 games since 2020, a success rate of 75%. New Orleans allows the most threes to opposing SGs this season.

Bucks vs Grizzlies Best Bet: Kevin Porter Jr. Over 21.5 Points (-122)

Porter Jr. has been consistent with his scoring in the 11 games he’s played this season. He’s cleared this line 6 times total, while on the road he’s done it in 4 of 5 games. Memphis allows the 4th most points to opposing PGs this season, hopefully he can continue his solid scoring run here.

Pistons vs Jazz Best Bet: Pistons -9.5 (-110)

The Jazz should be no match for the best team in the East. Detroit won the first meeting at home by 11 points, we just saw them win their 3rd game in a row, a win here would be a morale boost ahead of games against much better opponents than the Jazz are.

Clippers vs Trail Blazers Best Bet: James Harden Over 23.5 Points (-114)

Portland struggles heavily when it comes to guarding opposing point guards. They allow the 7th most points to that position in the entire NBA, plus the 6th most points overall this season. He’s cleared this line in 56% of his games this season.
