A total of 3 TV games await us on Saturday in the NBA with the action starting as early as 3 pm ET between the Orlando Magic and Minnesota Timberwolves. That game will be followed by the Nets vs Pistons clash on NBA TV at 6 pm ET, while the Warriors and Thunder finish off the night at 8.30 pm ET on ABC.
I’ve picked out my NBA Best Bets from all 6 games, with the odds being courtesy of FanDuel. Our NBA Picks cover every single game of the regular season, don’t forget to go over Saturday’s selections. Let’s get into my bets now.
Magic vs Timberwolves Best Bet: Under 226.5 (-110)
The last 10 meetings have averaged less than 218 points per game. Both teams are in the top 10 defensively over their last 10 games played, this game has all the necessary ingredients for a low scoring affair.
Nets vs Pistons Best Bet: Noah Clowney 2+ Made Threes (-138)
Clowney enters Saturday’s game having cleared this line in 3 of the last 4 meetings with the Pistons. He has made a pair of threes in 7 of 10 games played overall, the Pistons allow the 4th most threes to opposing Power Forwards this season. If we exclude his first 6 games of the season, he has cleared this line in 33 of 50 games (66%).
76ers vs Hawks Best Bet: Hawks -6.5 (-110)
Philly is missing Embiid and Edgecombe, so they have only Tyrese Maxey to rely on offensively. Far too little against a high flying Hawks team that’s just won 5 games in a row. Jalen Johnson and co. are a dominant 3-0 in head-to-head meetings this season, in fact they’ve won the last 8 meetings vs Philadelphia.
Clippers vs Grizzlies Best Bet: Darius Garland 2+ Made Threes (-172)
He’s still bothered by his toe injury, so I’d expect him to settle more for the three-point shot here. In his last 20 games he’s cleared this line 13 times, the Grizzlies rank 3rd for threes allowed to opposing PGs and 5th for threes allowed overall as a team.
Jazz vs Bucks Best Bet: Bucks -10.5 (-110)
Time for Milwaukee to snap out of it and finally get an easy win. They just got Giannis Antetokounmpo back from injury, playing a tanking team like the Jazz should allow them to get back on track. They’ve won 5 of 7 meetings, while also covering 5 times during this stretch. Utah has lost 7 of 8 games coming into this one and is without Markkanen, JJJ and Nurkic.
Warriors vs Thunder Best Bet: De’Anthony Melton 2+ Made Threes (-154)
With no Steph and Butler, Melton is now the primary option on offense. He’s delivered a pair of threes in 10 of 20 games, but more importantly against the Thunder he’s on a streak of 4 consecutive games with at least 2 threes made and is shooting over 48% from downtown.
