Friday saw an action-packed NBA Cup slate in the NBA, but the fun doesn’t stop there! On Saturday we have 8 more games coming our way with the highlight of the night being at Chase Center where the Golden State Warriors host the New Orleans Pelicans. Catch that game live on NBA TV from 8.30 pm ET.
I’ve gone in-depth with all 8 games taking place this Saturday, preparing a Best Bet for every single match-up. Odds are courtesy of FanDuel. We got you covered with deep analysis and NBA Picks on our website, but now let’s take a closer look at my predictions!
Celtics vs Timberwolves Best Bet: Celtics +7 (-108)
Minnesota has lost 3 in a row, they have a hard time vs teams who are over the .500 mark. Boston has stabilized after a sub-par start to their season, they just ended the Pistons’ 13-game win streak. No way Minnesota blows out the Cs here.

Raptors vs Hornets Best Bet: Raptors -8.5 (-114)
Toronto has won 9 in a row, they play a Hornets side that just spent a ton of energy in a win over Chicago less than 24 hours ago. Ingram and co. are on fire, they should handle their business here.

Bulls vs Pacers Best Bet: Under 241.5 (-110)
Both teams are playing on a 2nd night of a back-to-back, this could be problematic for Indiana especially since they have a significant number of players out injured. The under has cashed in 14 of 20 meetings, so let’s stick to the trends.

Pistons vs Heat Best Bet: Under 238.5 (-110)
These two rank 2nd and 5th in defensive efficiency, with their last 10 meetings averaging just 220.5 points. That’s quite low compared to today’s NBA standards, this number is a tad too big for my taste.

Nets vs Bucks Best Bet: Nets +11.5 (-110)
Both Giannis and Michael Porter Jr. could miss this one, if that’s the case then this is a pretty evenly matched affair. The Nets have covered in 5 of 6 road games and in 5 of 6 meetings with the Bucks. I’ll take them here.

Pelicans vs Warriors Best Bet: Warriors -8 (-112)
No Curry for the Warriors, but they are playing a really bad Pelicans team here. New Orleans has just 1 win in 14 road games, in head-to-head meetings at Chase Center it’s been all Golden State with 16 wins in 20 meetings. Back Jimmy Butler and co. to cover.

Nuggets vs Suns Best Bet: Suns ML (+140)
The mood around the Nuggets has been poor after a series of injuries to key players such as Aaron Gordon and Christian Braun. Phoenix is playing without any pressure this season, they are one of the more pleasant surprises so far this year.
Mavericks vs Clippers Best Bet: Under 221.5 (-110)
Both teams have a tough time scoring. Dallas ranks 30th in offensive efficiency, while the Clippers are only 19th. LA also plays the slowest pace in the league, so it’s quite obvious they’ll look to rely on their defense to win this game.
