Another week comes to a close in the NBA, a couple of early tip-offs will get this 10-game slate underway. Among others, there’s a big game taking place at Chase Center as the Golden State Warriors host the Atlanta Hawks, while the defending champs Thunder entertain the Miami Heat.

Pelicans vs Magic Best Bet: Magic -6.5 (-110)
Despite the win at Washington, I still have very little faith in these Pelicans. Orlando has been a consistent 12-6 SU in home games, they get Mo Wagner back from injury for this game as well.

Nets vs Grizzlies Best Bet: Nets +7.5 (-110)
Neither side has impressed lately, to put it politely. However, the atmosphere around the Nets is slightly better, Memphis just announced they are looking to trade away Ja Morant. If Michael Porter Jr. has a good game here, the Nets can keep things interesting.

76ers vs Raptors Best Bet: 76ers -4 (-114)
This is one of my safer bets of the night. The Sixers have been on a roll lately, playing a wounded Raptors team that’s missing a couple of key players. Among those is RJ Barrett, when he does not play they are a sub .500 team. Count on Philly to deliver.

Knicks vs Trail Blazers Best Bet: Trail Blazers +4.5 (-106)
Portland is in much better shape at the moment, riding a 5-game win streak. The Knicks have covered in just 5 road games this season and have only 7 wins to show for in 17 games played away from home. Back Portland.

Spurs vs Timberwolves Best Bet: Spurs +2.5 (-110)
How can you trust a team that just conceded 146 points against a decent at best Cavaliers team? San Antonio just won at Boston, their defense has been top notch lately. Wemby will be the difference maker here.
Heat vs Thunder Best Bet: Thunder -14 (-105)
Miami just got embarrassed by Indiana, losing by double-digits while never having the lead in that game. I’m hoping the Thunder do the same to them, SGA returns from injury and OKC is 18-2 SU in home games this season.

Bucks vs Nuggets Best Bet: Bucks -2 (-112)
Having the Nuggets as underdogs here might look harsh at first glance, but when you think about it it makes sense. Milwaukee just celebrated a big win over the Lakers, Giannis is amped up to carry them back into the East playoff picture.
Wizards vs Suns Best Bet: Suns -14.5 (-112)
Washington’s last 3 losses were by 21, 21 and 26 points vs New Orleans, Minnesota and Philadelphia. Surely the 13-5 SU at home Suns can beat them by at least 15 here? They’ve been in a solid groove winning 4 of 5 games, including a big win over the Knicks the other day and OKC earlier in the week.
Hawks vs Warriors Best Bet: Hawks +5.5 (-105)
Whenever you have a team relying on defense to win games, good things will happen. Without Trae Young this finally looks like a formidable team on both ends, I have the Hawks keeping things close against Golden State here.

Rockets vs Kings Best Bet: Rockets -12.5 (-112)
Despite losing back-to-back games, this is a good bounce back opportunity for the Rockets. Sacramento has lost 7 in a row, big changes are expected to be made in the trade market, only a matter of time until Sacramento pulls the trigger. I’ll take KD and co. to cover here.
