There will be no shortage of excitement this Sunday as we close out yet another week of NBA basketball. We are treated with an early tip-off in Oklahoma City as the Thunder host Ant Man and his Minnesota Timberwolves. Catch that game live from 1 pm ET on ABC, it’ll be followed by the Mavs vs Cavs clash at 3.30 pm ET on NBA TV. The Warriors and Knicks are the 3rd TV game today, tip-off for that one is set for 8 pm ET live on NBC.
I’ve prepared my NBA Best Bets for all 7 games being played today, odds are courtesy of FanDuel. Head over to our website for in-depth NBA Picks as well but now let’s get into my bets!
Timberwolves vs Thunder Best Bet: Timberwolves +8.5 (-108)
A win in the early tip-off for Minnesota would be the most Timberwolves thing ever. Ant Man and co. are capable of pulling off wins like this, but they’re also capable of losing to lesser teams than them. OKC is on a solid win streak, but they’re not blowing out opponents. I’ll take Minnesota and the extra points here.
Mavericks vs Cavaliers Best Bet: Cavaliers -16.5 (-114)
Some people might be turned off by the massive spread here, but I’m of the opinion that the Cavaliers can still get the job done despite the big number. They crushed the Mavs just two days ago in Dallas by 33 points, with their 3 best players all logging less than 30 minutes. It’s quite clear which is the better team here, rookie Copper Flagg won’t be able to keep things close all by himself here.
Pacers vs Bucks Best Bet: Under 228.5 (-110)
Only 205 and 204 points were scored in the two most recent meetings between the two sides. The under has cashed 4 times in the last 6 meetings, right now both of them have a bunch of players out injured and I just don’t think they’ll have enough to push the total over here. Zubac playing in the middle for Indy slows their offense a bit as well.
Pistons vs Raptors Best Bet: Duncan Robinson Over 11.5 Points (-102)
Robinson has been in fine form lately; I expect the Pistons to keep feeding his hot hand here. He’s gone over this total 12 times in 20 games, Toronto ranks 8th for points allowed vs opposing shooting guards this season.
Trail Blazers vs 76ers Best Bet: Jrue Holiday Over 16.5 Points (-118)
The veteran Holiday is playing really well on offense at the moment. He’s cashed on this line 12 times in 20 games, Philadelphia’s defense woes at his position are well noted this season. Without him having to chase around Tyrese Maxey on the defensive end, he will have plenty of energy to score enough points here.
Warriors vs Knicks Best Bet: Jalen Brunson Over 3.5 Rebounds (-125)
This has been one of the more profitable bets over the past month or so. Brunson has cleared this line 13 times in 20 games, he should be able to do it again on Sunday against the shorthanded Warriors. Golden State allows the 2nd most rebounds to opposing PGs and the 9th most rebounds overall as a team. Their last 3 games have seen opponents grab an average of 60.3 rebounds against them.
Jazz vs Kings Best Bet: Kings -1.5 (-110)
After that heroic win over the LA Clippers last night, how can you not double down on the Kings here? They’ve won 7 in a row at home vs Utah and 9 of the last 11 overall against them. The Jazz are in full on tank mode with just 2 wins in 12 games and a 1-5 SU record over their last 6 on the road.
