Best NBA Bets Today: Odds & Picks for every game on Sunday, November 23

Phoenix Suns guard Devin Booker (1) reacts against the Memphis Grizzlies in the second half at Footprint Center.
Long-time NBA fan, following the game closely for 21 years now. Joined the Pickswise writing staff for the 2020-21 season and have given out winning picks since. Hopefully we can make some money together! Oh, and I firmly believe Lebron James is not one of the two best basketball players of all time. Yeah, I said it. NBA fans in Europe are having a blast this weekend with early tip-offs happening on both days. The action starts as soon as 1 pm ET on Sunday with the Miami Heat and Philadelphia 76ers squaring off. In total we have 8 tasty match-ups coming our way, I’ve gone in-depth with my analysis and have prepared a Best Bet for every single game.

Odds are courtesy of FanDuel, as always we have you covered with NBA Picks, make sure you check those out. Let’s dive into the action now!

Heat vs 76ers Best Bet: Heat +1.5 (-114)

Last season it was all Miami as they swept the season series 4-0 winning by an average of 14.7 points. Over the last 8 meetings Miami has covered the spread 7 times, while in their last 8 games overall they are a reliable 6-2 SU/ATS. Plenty of reasons to stick with the Heat in this one.

Hornets vs Hawks Best Bet: Over 232.5 (-110)

Both teams played yesterday, which adds an interesting twist to predicting the outcome here. Atlanta is the clear cut better team, but it’s hard to say which team will overcome the fatigue factor better. I’ll back the points instead – the last 10 meetings have averaged 234.6 points.

Magic vs Celtics Best Bet: Magic +4.5 (-110)

Over the past 10 games the Magic look like the more polished team. They’ve won 7 of 10 games, while having the 2nd best defensive rating. Whenever you have a team putting in the effort on the defensive end good things will happen. Go with the Magic.

Clippers vs Cavaliers Best Bet: Cavs -9.5 (-108)

James Harden turned back the clock yesterday against the Hornets scoring 55 points, but I’m afraid the Cavaliers will be a much tougher challenge. Darius Garland is back, once he gets it going on a consistent basis it won’t be too long until the Cavaliers are on a long win streak.

Nets vs Raptors Best Bet: Raptors -12.5 (-105)

Raptors are 9-1 SU in 10 games, with the 4th best offense and the 3rd best defense. They’ve also covered in 5 of 6 games, I expect a dominant performance against arguably the worst team in the league here.

Blazers vs Thunder Best Bet: Thunder -15.5 (-110)

Portland is the only team that managed to beat OKC this year, can they do it again? I doubt it. OKC just looks light years ahead of everyone. They just won their 8th straight game, they’re 10-0 SU in their last 10 at home and 16-1 SU in the last 17 meetings with the Blazers.

Spurs vs Suns Best Bet: Suns -3 (-110)

We witnessed a remarkable comeback by the Suns on Friday as they overcome an 8-point deficit with 69 seconds left to beat Minnesota. With no Wemby the paint will be wide open for them to attack, they’re averaging 56 points down low in their last 3 games. I’ll go with the red-hot Suns here.

Lakers vs Jazz Best Bet: Over 245 (-112)

The over has cashed in 12 of 18 Lakers games and in 7 of 8 Jazz home games this season. In 7 meetings at the Delta Center the over is also 6-1, we just saw 266 points between the two teams 4 days ago so let’s stick with the trends.
