Christmas Day is just around the corner, but before that the NBA has prepared a treat for us with a monster 14-game slate coming our way this Tuesday. This includes a NBC double-header as well, starting at 8 pm ET with the Nuggets and Mavericks squaring off in Dallas. The Rockets and Clippers close out this epic night at 10.30 pm ET in LA.
I’ve covered all 14 games and come up with my Best Bet tip for each game, combining Player Prop Bets, Money Line predictions and I’ve also thrown in a couple of Spread picks in there as well. Nets vs 76ers Best Bet: VJ Edgecombe Over 1.5 Made Threes (-153)
Edgecombe has cleared this line in 17 of 24 games which is a success rate of 71%. Over his last 10 games he’s shooting the three-ball at a rate of 41.2%, a solid improvement over his season overage of 38.3%. Right now he’s on a streak of 7 consecutive games with at least 7 threes made.

Wizards vs Hornets Best Bet: Hornets -5.5 (-114)
Even though they’re playing their 2nd game in 2 days I still fancy the Hornets here. This is now a .500 team with Brandon Miller back from injury, the Wizards are 2-11 SU in 13 road games and have won just 4 of 20 overall.

Bucks vs Pacers Best Bet: AJ Green Over 8.5 Points (-130)
In 26 games played this season Green has cleared this line 19 times. For a bet that cashes 73% of the time we are getting respectable odds here. Especially against an Indiana team that struggles mightily guarding opposing guards – they allow the 2nd most points to opposing SGs this season.

Bulls vs Hawks Best Bet: Hawks -4 (-114)
Chicago won the first game of this baseball series between them and the Hawks, now it’s time for Atlanta to respond. Let’s hope we finally see some defense played here.
Pelicans vs Cavaliers Best Bet: Pelicans +9.5 (-110)
Pels have won 5 in a row and covered in 6 straight. They’re playing a Cavs team that’s been one of the biggest disappointments of the season, they just played the Hornets on Monday and barely beat them. Bad habits don’t go away overnight, I’ll gladly take the in-form Pelicans as road underdogs here.
Raptors vs Heat Best Bet: Under 228.5 Points (-110)
Both teams are struggling to put points on the board. The first meeting played a week ago saw just 202 points scored between them, only 219.8 points per game have been scored in the last 10 games head-to-head.

Nuggets vs Mavericks Best Bet: Max Christie Over 8.5 Points (-106)
He isn’t the flashiest of players, but Max Christie has been very consistent in his role this season. He has scored at least 9 points in 24 of 29 games played (83%), I like his chances of doing so again vs a Nuggets team which allows the 9th most points to opposing SGs this season.

Knicks vs Timberwolves Best Bet: Timberwolves -6.5 (-106)
Knicks have struggled on the road this season plus they’ll be without Jalen Brunson and OG Anunoby. That’s a big blow to overcome vs a Minnesota team that’s won 9 of 11 games and is 11-5 SU at Target Center this season.

Thunder vs Spurs Best Bet: Victor Wembanyama Over 8.5 Rebounds (-130)
Wemby has been on a minutes restriction since returning from his calf injury, there is a chance he finally gets reinstated into the starting line-up here. He has grabbed 9 rebounds in 13 of 17 games this season, in his last 2 outings vs Atlanta and Washington he grabbed 12 in each game playing just 22 and 21 minutes respectively.

Lakers vs Suns Best Bet: Suns -5.5 (-110)
No Luka Doncic means trouble for the Lakers here. He is the heart and soul of their team averaging 34.1 points, 8.6 rebounds and 8.8 assists. I don’t believe the Lakers can overcome his absence vs a Suns team that’s covered in 14 of 20 games.

Grizzlies vs Jazz Best Bet: Keyonte George Over 3.5 Rebounds (-158)
He might be grabbing the headlines due to his scoring lately, but let’s not underestimate Keyonte George’s ability to rebound the ball. He has grabbed at least 4 boards in 19 of 28 games so far (68%), the Grizzlies allow the 5th most rebounds to opposing PGs this season.
Magic vs Trail Blazers Best Bet: Trail Blazers ML (+112)
I have to say I expected way more from the Magic last night against Golden State, but they got blown out by 23 points. Now they have a tall task of facing a run and gun Blazers team on a 2nd night of a back-to-back, I’m not sure they’ll be able to cope with them Back Portland.
Pistons vs Kings Best Bet: Duncan Robinson Over 2.5 Made Threes (-130)
Robinson has been very reliable when it comes to three-point shooting this season. He’s at 39.5% efficiency for the year, coming into Tuesday’s game he has cleared this line in back-to-back games vs Charlotte and Portland.
Rockets vs Clippers Best Bet: Alperen Sengun to Record 10+ Rebounds (+106)
With no Ivica Zubac to deal with, Alperen Sengun should have a much easier task of reaching 10 rebounds here. He’s done it 4 times in his last 6 games, the Clippers allow the 3rd most rebounds to opposing centers this season.
