Long-time NBA fan, following the game closely for 21 years now. Joined the Pickswise writing staff for the 2020-21 season and have given out winning picks since. Hopefully we can make some money together! Oh, and I firmly believe Lebron James is not one of the two best basketball players of all time. Yeah, I said it. There will be no shortage of excitement on Tuesday in the NBA, despite only 4 games being played. NBC has a doubleheader coming our way, starting at 8:00 pm ET between the Philadelphia 76ers and Memphis Grizzlies. That will be followed by a clash in Los Angeles as the Lakers host the best team in the East, the Detroit Pistons. I’ve analyzed all 4 matchups taking place this evening and have come up with my NBA best bets for each of them, with odds courtesy of FanDuel Sportsbook. You can also check out our experts’ NBA picks for every matchup throughout the season and playoffs.

76ers vs Grizzlies best bet: Tyrese Maxey over 3.5 threes (-108)

Tyrese Maxey is enjoying the best scoring season of his career. He has been exceptional from three-point land, cashing on this bet 17 times in 28 games (61%). Memphis isn’t really known for elite perimeter defense – they rank 6th for threes allowed this season, while opposing PGs are making the 3rd-most threes against them.

Celtics vs Jazz best bet: Keyonte George over 3.5 rebounds (-172)

Backing Keyonte George to clear this line has yielded profit in 68% of games this season (21/31). With the Jazz playing at a high tempo, he should continue clearing this line for the foreseeable future.

Pistons vs Lakers best bet: Pistons -2.5 (-106)

I have a hard time imagining the best team in the East dropping their 3rd game in a row, especially against a Lakers team that’s struggled for most of December both offensively and defensively. The Pistons have the 2nd-best defensive rating, behind only the Oklahoma City Thunder. Expect a bounce-back performance after they scored just 99 points against the Clippers.

Kings vs Clippers best bet: Clippers -10 (-115)

The Clippers are back with 4 wins in a row, all by double digits. Sacrament is without Zach LaVine, Keegan Murray and Domantas Sabonis, and should be no match for them here. Ever since Ivica Zubac went out with his injury, the Clippers’ offense has thrived as they can now space the floor a lot better with Brook Lopez, who is a three-point threat. I’m taking the Clippers to win big here.
