All eyes are once again on the NBA tonight with a massive 12-game slate coming our way. Peacock will also have a double-header, starting at 7.30 pm ET between the Knicks and Cavaliers. The Timberwolves and Trail Blazers clash at 10 pm ET, it promises to be yet another quality night of NBA basketball.
With so many games to bet on, I’ve gone in-depth with every single match-up and prepared my NBA Best Bets. Odds are courtesy of FanDuel, don’t forget to go over our NBA Picks for Tuesday’s slate. Let’s jump into my bets now.
76ers vs Pacers Best Bet: 76ers -8.5 (-108)
Philadelphia has owned this match-up with 10 wins in 15 games, they’re also 13-7 ATS in 20 road games overall going into Tuesday’s game. Indiana could be without Pascal Siakam, they are pretty much done for this season so I don’t expect much from them in this match-up.
Mavericks vs Nets Best Bet: Nets +1.5 (-105)
Both teams are in full on tank mode, but at least the Nets have their best player available here. This is the perfect opportunity for them to end a 4-game losing streak, Dallas is only 9-17 ATS in away games and is currently missing Cooper Flagg.
Thunder vs Raptors Best Bet: RJ Barrett 2+ Made Threes (+118)
OKC allows the 3rd most threes as a team this season. Barrett has been relatively reliable with his long ball this season, clearing this line in 62% of his games. At home that percentage goes up to almost 69% (11 of 16 games), I have high hopes from him in this game.
Wizards vs Hawks Best Bet: Nickeil Alexander-Walker Over 3.5 Assists (-152)
He has cleared this line in 8 of 10 games. Do not expect him to encounter much resistance from a struggling Washington Wizards defense here. The Wiz rank 2nd for assists allowed as a team this season and 8th for assists allowed to opposing SGs.
Heat vs Bucks Best Bet: Over 228.5 (-110)
Tyler Herro’s return is a massive boost for the Heat offense, they’ve now scored 120+ points in 3 consecutive games. We’ve seen a trend of high scoring games in head-to-head meetings between the Heat and Bucks – the over has cashed 10 times in 12 such games. I’m backing the points here.
Knicks vs Cavaliers Best Bet: Jose Alvarado 2+ Made Threes (+103)
Alvarado brings so much energy with his presence, he was one of the main reasons why the Knicks were able to overturn a double-digit lead by the Rockets in the 4th quarter a few games back. He’s cleared this line 6 times in 10 games, Cleveland allows the 7th most threes to opposing PGs this season.
Warriors vs Pelicans Best Bet: Under 224.5 (-110)
Both teams have been hit hard by the injury bug. Warriors are without Curry, Butler, Dryamond and Porzingis, while the Pelicans are without leading scorer Trey Murphy III. The 10 most recent meetings are averaging 220.9 points per game, the under has cashed in 4 of 5.
Hornets vs Bulls Best Bet: Over 229.5 (-111)
The Hornets are red-hot from three-point land. They’ve now scored 20+ threes in back-to-back games and 19 threes in 4 of their last 5 games. Josh Giddey is back for Chicago, I think it’s time he had a breakout game against LaMelo Ball here. The over has cashed in 6 of 8 for the Bulls.
Celtics vs Suns Best Bet: Celtics -6.5 (-115)
With Brooks and Devin Booker out the Suns are about to encounter issues on the offensive end. Their last 3 games have seen them shoot 36%, 34% and 37% from the field. You just can’t expect that to improve against an elite defensive team like Boston.
Timberwolves vs Trail Blazers Best Bet: Wolves -5.5 (-110)
This is a solid revenge spot for the Timberwolves following their disappointing loss to Philadelphia the other day. They get Rudy Gobert back which should help down low. Portland has shot under 50% in 8 of 10 games, they are no match for the offensive firepower of Minnesota here.
Magic vs Lakers Best Bet: Lakers -5.5 (-110)
Luka and co. couldn’t do much against the Celtics in their last game, but against Orlando it’ll be a different story. Doncic has scored 32, 32 and 45 points in the last 3 meetings with this team, I expect him to carry the Lakers to an impressive home win here.
