I went 6-3 on my NBA Best Bets this past Sunday, I’m hoping to do better than that on Tuesday as we try to make the most out of a 10-game NBA slate. Coming our way is a NBC/Peacock double-header, starting at 8 pm ET with the Celtics and Mavericks squaring off. The Suns and Trail Blazers finish the night with a late tip-off at 11 pm ET.

Nuggets vs Pistons Best Bet: Nuggets +4 (-110)
Jokic is back, so expect the Nuggets to improve in the coming days/weeks. They lost narrowly in the first meeting this season with half their team out injured, I have high hopes for their rematch with the Pistons on Tuesday night.

Jazz vs Pacers Best Bet: Over 236.5 (-110)
The last 10 meetings are averaging 242.1 points per game. Both teams are dealing with a lot of injuries right now, but neither side is too motivated to play any defense here. Take the points.

Knicks vs Wizards Best Bet: Wizards +13.5 (-110)
These are the worst type of games for us bettors. You just never know if the Knicks will take this game seriously and blow out the lowly Wizards. Washington has 3 wins in 4 games and is showing signs of life, I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt here and back them to cover at home.

Lakers vs Nets Best Bet: Lakers -8 (-110)
The Lakers like to beat up on lesser teams, while having difficulties against those who are over .500 this season. The Nets are just the opponent they need to get back on track after losing at MSG the other day.
Hawks vs Heat Best Bet: Hawks ML (+152)
It’s been a while since we had a signature Hawks win. They lost the first meeting at home by 15, something tells me they won’t go down without a fight in the rematch in Miami on Tuesday.

Celtics vs Mavericks Best Bet: Celtics -7.5 (-108)
Aside from Cooper Flagg the Celtics don’t really have much to be concerned with here. Dallas is missing a bunch of players on the inside, so the Cs three-ball isn’t working they can just attack the paint at will. Dallas has lost 4 in a row, I don’t rate their chances of turning it around vs Boston here.
Bulls vs Bucks Best Bet: Bulls -3 (-112)
Everyone is beating up on the shorthanded Bucks right now. Without Giannis it’s been a struggle, Milwaukee scored just 79 points in their latest defeat against Boston, the 4th time in 5 games they’ve scored 102 or less points. Give me the high scoring Bulls here.
Magic vs Thunder Best Bet: Thunder -7 (-110)
Both teams are shorthanded with injuries right now, but the Thunder are a well oiled machine at home with 21 wins in 25 games played. They just beat the Denver Nuggets with Nikola Jokic playing on the road, against Orlando they’ve lost only once in 8 home games and have covered in 11 of 14 meetings.

76ers vs Warriors Blazers Best Bet: 76ers +2.5 (-110)
Philadelphia is a reliable 15-6 ATS in 21 road games this season, they just beat the Clippers last night to match a season high win streak winning 4 in a row. They’re also an encouraging 6-3 SU in 9 games without rest this season, I’m hoping they have enough to beat a shorthanded Warriors team here.

Suns vs Trail Blazers Best Bet: Suns -3.5 (-110)
Both teams missing their best players, but the Suns are better equipped at handling the absence of Devin Booker. We just saw them beat the Pistons and Cavaliers in a span of 2 days without their superstar. They’ve beaten the Blazers in 5 of 7 meetings as well.
