Best NBA Bets Today: Odds & Picks for every game on Wednesday, February 4

Long-time NBA fan, following the game closely for 21 years now. Joined the Pickswise writing staff for the 2020-21 season and have given out winning picks since. Hopefully we can make some money together! Oh, and I firmly believe Lebron James is not one of the two best basketball players of all time. Yeah, I said it. After going 6-3 on my NBA Best Bets on Sunday, I was able to follow it up with an 8-2 effort on Tuesday’s 10 game slate. Let’s keep the momentum going this Wednesday as another 7 games are being played.

The game of the night is in Madison Square Garden where Nikola Jokic and the Nuggets take on Jalen Brunson and the Knicks from 1 pm ET, live on ESPN. We also have a big match-up in San Antonio between the Spurs and Thunder as Part 2 of the ESPN double-header, tipping off at 9.30 pm ET.

Continue reading below to see my NBA Best Bets for Wednesday’s slate, odds are courtesy of FanDuel. As always, we got you covered with NBA Picks for all games taking place this evening, but let’s focus on my bets now.

Nuggets vs Knicks Best Bet: Nuggets +6 (-110)

Although I believe the Knicks will come out on top, Denver should make their life very difficult here. Containing Nikola Jokic will be tough, he’s averaging 25.6 points, 10.2 rebounds and 6.3 assists in 10 meetings and the Knicks currently don’t have an answer for him.

Timberwolves vs Raptors Best Bet: Raptors ML (-102)

Two very similar teams, but the key here is the fact that both Julius Randle and Anthony Edwards are on the injury report listed as game-time decisions. If either of them isn’t able to go, it’s a massive handicap for the Timberwolves. Toronto has won 11 of 15 meetings overall, at home they’ve lost only once against this team in 20 meetings.

Celtics vs Rockets Best Bet: Celtics +6 (-110)

Boston has a winning record in games played with no rest, they’ll be looking to get revenge for the early season loss to Houston at home. It’s unclear if Nikola Vucevic will make his debut for his new team, but the Cs are in solid rhythm and I firmly believe they can get a result here.

Pelicans vs Bucks Best Bet: Over 222.5 (-110)

Milwaukee playing on a 2nd night of a back-to-back, while the Pelicans are tanking and losing games on purpose. I think the best approach to this game is to back the points. The last 10 meetings have averaged over 240 points per game, while the over has cashed 15 times in 18 meetings.

Thunder vs Spurs Best Bet: Thunder -2.5 (-106)

As much as I like what I’ve seen from the Spurs in this match-up this season, I cannot imagine them winning against the defending champs for the 4th time in 5 meetings. SGA and co. are playing on a 2nd night of a back-to-back and are banged up with injuries, but they’ll play with an extra incentive here after losing the first 3 meetings vs San Antonio this season.

Grizzlies vs Kings Best Bet: Kings -2 (-106)

Memphis just got rid of their best player this season Jaren Jackson Jr., which is a clear signal of their intentions for the rest of the season. Sacramento is on a long losing streak, I think it’s time they put it to an end against a really struggling Grizzlies side here.

Cavaliers vs Clippers Best Bet: Cavaliers -1.5 (-110)

These two teams just exchanged point-guards, there’s a chance James Harden plays against his former team just a day after getting traded. In any case, Cleveland should have the edge here. They’ve played extremely well over the past 7 games, winning 6 times. They’re basically used to playing without Garland who has been out for the majority of the season.
