Best NBA Bets Today: Odds & Picks for every game on Wednesday, November 12

Long-time NBA fan, following the game closely for 21 years now. Joined the Pickswise writing staff for the 2020-21 season and have given out winning picks since. Hopefully we can make some money together! Oh, and I firmly believe Lebron James is not one of the two best basketball players of all time. Yeah, I said it. Wednesday means we have a ESPN double-header coming our way in the NBA, with the action starting in New York as the Knicks host the Magic. The Lakers vs Thunder game is the biggest of the night as 24 teams hit the NBA hardwood. I’ve prepared a Best Bet for every single match-up, last night I went 5-1 in my picks. Odds are courtesy of FanDuel, don’t forget to check our NBA Picks for a 12-game slate, but now let’s get into my bets.

Bucks vs Hornets Best Bet: Bucks -5.5 (-110)

Milwaukee is just a better team all around. They rank top 3 in three-point percentage while the Hornets have had major issues defending the perimeter. Giannis has a monster game and the Bucks cover.

Bulls vs Pistons Best Bet: Pistons -2.5 (-110)

Pistons are on a roll, they lead the East at 9-2. Chicago has cooled off significantly following that hot start. They’ve allowed 120+ in 3 straight, there’s no stopping Cade Cunningham in this one.

Magic vs Knicks Best Bet: Knicks -4 (-108)

The Knicks are unbeaten at home and the Magic haven’t done enough to convince me they can become the first team to win at MSG this season. Let’s roll with New York in this one.

Grizzlies vs Celtics Best Bet: Under 230.5 (-112)

Boston ranks 28th in pace when playing at home. They’ll look to slow things down against the Grizzlies, as that gives them the best chance of beating this team. Conversely, Ja Morant has lost a step and he just doesn’t look like a top 10 point guard in this league anymore.

Cavaliers vs Heat Best Bet: Cavaliers +6 (-110)

After a game in which we saw 278 points and overtime between these two, they run it back in the same building just two days later. I have to give the Cavaliers the advantage here, they were unlucky to lose on Monday, there’s no way they lose to the same team in back-to-back games.

Wizards vs Rockets Best Bet: Rockets -16.5 (-110)

Washington is just bad. Their defense has allowed 137, 148 and 136 points in 3 of the last 4 games.

Trail Blazers vs Pelicans Best Bet: Pelicans +8.5 (-110)

The Blazers have lost back-to-back games, they’ll look to take out their frustrations on the Pelicans here. However, I feel like New Orleans will play with a lot of pride at home here.

Warriors vs Spurs Best Bet: Spurs -4.5 (-108)

The Warriors just look old. They got beat by 24 last night in Oklahoma City, now they have to face the alien Victor Wembanyama and a Spurs team that has the rest advantage.

Suns vs Mavericks Best Bet: Suns ML (-106)

The wheels are falling off in Dallas as GM Nico Harisson just got fired. Phoenix is playing without any pressure this season, they’ve overachieved with their 6-5 SU start. I’ll take Book and co. to get the W here.

Lakers vs Thunder Best Bet: Lakers ML (+210)

It’s a risky play, but I feel like the Lakers can upset here as OKC is on a 2nd night of a back-to-back. Last season LA won by double-digits in this building, if anyone can beat the Thunder at home for the first time this season it’s them.

Hawks vs Kings Best Bet: Over 233.5 (-112)

Don’t expect a lot of defense to be played in this game. Sacramento has allowed 122, 144, 132 and 130 points in 4 of their last 5 games. Take the over.

Nuggets vs Clippers Best Bet: Nuggets -2 (-110)

Denver is playing on a 2nd night of a back-to-back, but this Clippers team is really struggling right now. They’ve lost 5 in a row and there’s no Kawhi Leonard available.
