It feels like every night we have 1 or 2 games in the NBA that just take our breath away. Well, there will be no shortage of excitement on Wednesday as 18 teams hit the NBA hardwood. ESPN’s double-header tips off in Cleveland as the Rockets and Cavs face off at 7:00 pm ET, which is followed by Knicks vs Mavericks at 9:30 pm ET.
I have prepared my NBA best bets for every single matchup, with odds courtesy of FanDuel Sportsbook. You can check out our NBA picks for all games this season, but for now let’s break down my top predictions for tonight.
Rockets vs Cavaliers best bet: Over 232.5 (-110)
Houston has cashed on the over 10 times in 12 games this season and it boasts the NBA’s best offense right now. Cleveland has cashed on the over in 6 of 8 games.

Hornets vs Pacers best bet: Hornets -1 (-112)
Unlike Indiana, the Hornets have a somewhat functional team right now. They just held their ground against Toronto, losing by only 2 points. Indy has lost 8 in a row and its last 6 losses have all come by 10 or more points.

Raptors vs 76ers best bet: Raptors -1.5 (-110)
Toronto let a 14-point lead slip away the last time these 2 met, so this is a good revenge spot for Brandon Ingram and company.

Warriors vs Heat best bet: Heat -6.5 (-110)
Jimmy Butler faces his old team on the second night of a back-to-back. The Warriors are one of the oldest rosters in the league, so don’t be surprised if they rest guys. Take Miami.

Wizards vs Timberwolves best bet: Timberwolves -15.5 (-110)
The Wizards just lost by 23 to the Nets. I repeat, they lost by 23 points to a team that was 1-11 SU prior to that game. Minnesota should win this easily.

Nuggets vs Pelicans best bet: Nuggets -13.5 (-108)
Losing Christian Braun is a big blow, but that shouldn’t matter vs the lowly Pelicans. Denver won the first meeting 122-88. Back the Nuggets again to dominate.
Kings vs Thunder best bet: Kings +19.5 (-112)
The Kings are bad, but they’re not this bad. They have lost by more than 20 only once in 4 games, plus they held their ground in OKC when they lost by just 6 points in late October.

Knicks vs Mavericks best bet: Knicks -4.5 (-110)
There’s no need to overthink this one. Jalen Brunson might return — but even if he doesn’t, the Knicks should win this one easily. Dallas has the second-worst offensive efficiency in the league.

Bulls vs Trail Blazers best bet: Bulls -1.5 (-110)
Chicago celebrated one of the unlikeliest wins of the season by beating Denver as a double-digit underdog. The Bulls now take on a Blazers team playing on the second night of a back-to-back. With Coby White back, I like their chances.
