The NHL Global Series continues on Friday with a great matchup between the Maple Leafs and Red Wings in Stockholm, Sweden. Here in North America, it will be a day game as puck drop is 2:0 pm ET. Later tonight, the Sabres play the Jets in Winnipeg and the Panthers continue their west-coast swing by visiting the Ducks.

This is a solida day of action before the huge 13-game Saturday slate and you can make it even more intriguing by checking out our NHL mega parlay at +992 odds below. You can also read our NHL predictions for picks on all of today’s games.

Toronto Maple Leafs ML & over 5.5 (+130)

Buffalo Sabres vs Winnipeg Jets over 6.5 (-115)

Florida Panthers -1.5 (+154)

NHL mega parlay odds: +992

Toronto Maple Leafs ML & over 5.5 (+130)

The Red Wings dropped a heck of a game to the Senators on Thursday to kick off this Sweden series. Players have indicated there is a real jet lag factor and the Red Wings are playing their second game in as many days on less rest after more recent travel. The Maple Leafs come into this game in better form and should be more rested.

The over has been rolling for both of these teams lately. The total has gone over in 4 of Detroit’s last 5 games and in Toronto’s last 5. Both teams have shown strong goalscoring but also weak goal prevention, which has led to consistent high totals. Look for the over to supplement a Maple Leafs win.

Buffalo Sabres vs Winnipeg Jets over 6.5 (-115)

The Jets have somewhat surprisingly been very good on offense this season. They score the 6th-most goals per game in the NHL and have flexed that strength in the last 2 weeks. Winnipeg is 4-1-0 in its last 5 games with 24 goals scored in those games.

Winnipeg’s strong goalscoring has led to the over being 9-5-1 in their games this season, including hitting in 5 of their last 6. Offensive trends have not been the same for Buffalo who had stellar goalscoring last year. The pieces are still there but this team has not yet hit its ceiling. If the Sabres are going to stay in this game, it should be by scoring as opposed to strong defense. This one has potential for a high total.

Florida Panthers -1.5 (+154)

The Panthers and Ducks are both playing great hockey but the +154 odds for the Panthers’ puck line are generous and worth a shot. The Ducks have been surprisingly solid this season. It still remains to be seen whether their success is sustainable but we know what the Panthers are. The reigning Eastern Conference champions are 5-1 in their last 6 games with the only loss being by just 1 goal.

The Ducks have dropped 3 of their last 5 games with a -7 goal differential. If they are coming back down to earth, now is a good time to pounce on them while opponent puck lines are around +150. Getting a great Panthers team at these odds is appealing.
