Monday in the NHL is jam-packed. Due to the Presidents’ Day holiday, the action begins at 12:30 pm ET. There are 5 afternoon matchups, 3 early-evening matchups, and the final 2 games on Monday begin at 7:00 pm ET. This 10-game slate spanning from early afternoon into the night is a nice surprise for folks who will be stuck at work or work from home. Matinee NHL action will help break up the day a little bit. This is an important time of year for several teams and today will be another needle mover. Along with our NHL mega parlay, make sure you also read our NHL predictions for today’s action.

NHL Parlay Picks (2/19)

Golden Knights -1.5 (-105)

Oilers win and over 6.5 (+138)

Lightning -1.5 (+142)

NHL parlay odds: +1024

Vegas Golden Knights -1.5 over San Jose Sharks (-105)

This is a plain lopsided game in favor of the Golden Knights. Just about every team in hockey would have a favorable matchup against the Sharks, and the Golden Knights are no exception. Vegas has won all 3 prior head-to-head matchups this season by a combined score of 14-5. That is an average win for the Golden Knights by 3 goals over the Sharks.

San Jose has dropped 14 of their last 20 games and 8 of their last 11 played at home. The Golden Knights have actually dropped 3 of their last 5 games, including their last 2 straight. They will come out with some urgency to get back on track with a convincing win.

Edmonton Oilers ML over Arizona Coyotes & Over 6.5 (+138)

The way the Oilers have played for 3 months now would give them appeal against just about any team in hockey. But there is even more appeal considering they are playing a team that is on a downward spiral. The Coyotes have lost 15 of their last 19 games, including their last 9 straight. This one looks to be all Edmonton.

The over also has appeal in this game given Edmonton’s offensive production and Arizona’s lack of goal prevention. Keeping pucks out of the net has been a primary challenge for the Coyotes over this rough stretch. The over has been hot for the Oilers lately and the pure matchup of this game looks good for that trend to continue.

Tampa Bay Lightning -1.5 over Ottawa Senators (+142)

After an inconsistent first couple months of the season, the Lightning rode a great January to a playoff spot. In February, they reverted to a bit of inconsistency as they had very good wins against the Bruins and Avalanche, but very bad losses to the Islanders and Panthers. They need to collect 2 points here to keep pace in this playoff race and should come out ready to play.

The Lightning have proven over the last decade that this is their time of year. This team thrives late in the season and in the playoffs. Tampa is coming off a brutal loss that they can chalk up as one of those days. They understand the importance of each game down the stretch and will dial it in against teams like the Senators.
