Sebastian Aho over 0.5 goals (+190)

Sebastian Aho has been on fire recently, as he has a goal in each of his last 3 games. This is no coincidence either, as he leads the Hurricanes in goals on the season. He will also get plenty of opportunities to extend that goal-scoring streak to 4 games as he is their top line center and on their first power-play unit, which currently ranks 4th in the NHL.

His opponent on Thursday, the Maple Leafs, are projected to be starting their 3rd string goalie, Erik Kallgren. Kallgren has 1 start this season, a shutout of the Dallas Stars on Tuesday. The difference is the Stars are a below-average offense, while the Hurricanes rank in the top 5. Look for Aho to lead the Hurricanes’ attack and place your bet on Aho over 0.5 goals.

Anthony Duclair over 0.5 goals (+250)

Anthony Duclair has picked up his game in his second season in Florida. In only 52 games, he has already surpassed his career-high in goals in a season with 24, with still plenty of hockey to play. Recently, he’s been finding the back of the net, as he has 3 goals in his last 5 games. Even though he is on the 3rd line, he is on the top power play unit that ranks in the top 10. He also has been putting a lot of pucks to the net, as he has averaged just under 3 shots per game in his last 5 games as well.

Duclair’s Panthers will be playing the Golden Knights, who have been a mess lately, especially on the back end. They just went 0-5 on their road trip where they allowed an average of 4.6 goals against per game. Look for Duclair to light the lamp and place your bet on Duclair over 0.5 goals.
