The Dodgers return to the promised land as reigning champions, while the Blue Jays look to win their first World Series since 1993. Blake Snell has been electric all postseason long and will get the ball for the Dodgers as road favorites in Game 1. Let’s dive into my Dodgers vs Blue Jays Same Game Parlay picks at +455 odds at DraftKings Sportsbook. Be sure to check out all our picks for EVERY GAME of the World Series!
Blake Snell (LAD) 8+ Strikeouts (+221)
Dodgers -1.5 (+113)
Dodgers vs Blue Jays Same Game Parlay odds: +455
Blake Snell (LAD) 8+ Strikeouts (+221)
Blake Snell has been nearly unhittable in the three series he’s pitched through. In 21 innings of work this postseason, Snell has allowed six hits, two runs, while fanning 28 batters out – Having at least 9 K’s in all three games. While the Blue Jays were extremely difficult to strikeout during the regular season, having the lowest K rate in baseball, Snell is in one of the best forms we’ve seen – Even better than his 2 CY Young seasons. With a WHIP as low as .52 this postseason and an outs line of 17.5, Snell is ready to go 6+ innings of 8+ strikeout work.
Check out our prediction for Game 1 of the World Series
Dodgers -1.5 (+113)
The Dodgers came into the postseason with the best odds to win the World Series, even with a Wild Card series to play, and they’ve looked the part and more. With questions regarding their bullpen, Roki Sasaki has locked up the backend, while the Dodgers have shown they can plug in Tyler Glasnow to eat up innings if a starter can’t. Well, the starting rotation has been able to eat up innings and shut down opponents, led by Snell.
23-year-old Trey Yesavage will get the Game 1 ball for the Blue Jays – The same pitcher who started in Single-A. He’ll have a short leash with a rested bullpen, but the Dodgers offense can get to anybody, led by 3 MVPs at the top and veterans at the bottom. We’re witnessing one of the best teams of this century, and I expect a comfortable win in Game 1 with Snell pitching deep.
