One of the biggest games on Monday’s MLB slate comes in Philadelphia, where the Atlanta Braves will take on the Philadelphia Phillies in a matchup between National League East playoff hopefuls on Monday. The Braves have bounced back a bit following an extremely slow start, but Atlanta is still lagging a bit behind the Phillies, Mets and other contenders in the National League. On the other side, Philadelphia has a short lead in the NL East standings, and the Phillies are looking to stay ahead of the Mets in what should be a very competitive division.
To add a little more excitement to this matchup, I have pieced together my Braves vs Mets Same Game Parlay picks at +355 odds. You can also get MLB picks on the side and total for Monday’s big matchups.

Philadelphia Phillies ML over Atlanta Braves (-110)
To start off our Braves vs Phillies Same Game Parlay, we’ll go with the Phillies on the money line. Ranger Suarez has long been one of the better big-game pitchers across baseball, and he has pitched extremely well of late, having allowed just 3 earned runs across his last 20.2 innings pitched. Suarez has also been elite at limiting hard contact, as he sits in the 99th percentile in both hard-hit rate and barrel rate per Baseball Savant. On the other side, Braves starter Spencer Strider has only made 2 starts this season, and things haven’t gone well. While Strider is just too talented of a pitcher to not see positive regression, right now his 6.41 xERA is nearly a run higher than his 5.79 ERA for a reason. Things won’t get any easier against a Phillies lineup that has averaged 5.8 runs per game over their last 10 games, so let’s take Philadelphia to stay hot at the dish in this one.

Austin Riley 2+ total bases (-105)
For our second and final leg in our Same Game Parlay, let’s go with Austin Riley to record at least 2 total bases in this series opener. The Braves best pure hitter is in the midst of a decent stretch, having reached base 15 times over the last 10 games. He also has the distinct advantage of posting rock-solid career numbers against Suarez, having reached base 12 times in 29 plate appearances against the veteran left-hander. Furthermore, 5 of Riley’s 8 hits against Suarez have gone for extra bases, so all it could take for us to cash this leg of the parlay is one solid swing. It’s not as if the Phillies bullpen has been fantastic, either, so Riley could certainly still do damage in the late innings, as well.
