The curtain falls on the 2025 PGA Tour season with the final tournament of the FedEx Cup Fall, the RSM Classic, a wide-open betting heat that takes place at Sea Island Golf Club in Georgia. Georgia native Harris English, making his first competitive start since the Ryder Cup, is the betting favorite and will be keen to claim a 2nd victory of the year, while other lesser lights are fighting for the right to play on the PGA Tour next year.
Now into its 16th year, the RSM Classic has always been staged at Sea Island Golf Club on St Simons Island, and since 2015 it has been staged across 2 courses in order to accommodate a full field in fading mid-November sunlight. 3 of the 4 rounds are staged at the Seaside Course, an exposed coastal layout that can be challenging when the wind blows, while players will play 1 of their first 2 rounds at the Plantation Course, an inland track that tends to be the easier of the 2.
Unlike in Bermuda last week, where players were almost blown off the course on Sunday afternoon, the weather looks relatively calm, so conditions should be scoreable, putting added emphasis on sharp short-game skills. Tournament favorite English is an excellent putter and is, in theory, well suited to the Seaside, but his record in the RSM is surprisingly moderate, with 13 previous appearances resulting in just 1 top-10 finish. Let’s dive into my golf predictions for this week’s RSM Classic.

The RSM Classic golf picks and predictions
The RSM Classic best bet: Brian Harman (+2700)
Odds available at bet365 at time of publishing.
English is not the only Georgia native towards the head of the market, with the RSM representing a big chance for Savannah-born, Sea Island-based Brian Harman to return to winning ways. Already a champion in Texas this year, Harman has demonstrated his coastal credentials on multiple occasions, most notably when battling the elements to win the British Open Championship at Hoylake in 2023, and he was 10th at Royal Portrush in July.
After 3 solid weeks in the FedEx Cup Playoffs, culminating in 13th place at a less suitable venue in East Lake, Harman returned from 2 months off to finish 26th in the DP World Tour’s India Championship, which should have served to keep him sharp with this week in mind. Harman was 4th in the 2017 RSM and a runner-up in 2022, and has all the attributes required to shine again this week.
The RSM Classic prediction: JT Poston (+3000)
Odds available at DraftKings Sportsbook at time of publishing.
JT Poston also looks likely to shine from the Sea Island contingent. He was 5th in last year’s RSM Classic, thanks to weekend rounds of 64-63, and recent PGA Tour starts have been solid, with 4 consecutive top-30 finishes coming from the Wyndham Championship onwards.
The RSM Classic pick: Nico Echavarria (+5500)
Odds available at DraftKings Sportsbook and bet365 at time of publishing.
Bettors should keep the faith with Nico Echavarria, who started well in Bermuda before coming unstuck in tough conditions. The Colombian, twice a PGA Tour champion, has finished 9th at the Baycurrent Classic and 14th at the Worldwide Technology Championship in recent weeks, and he returns to a tournament where he found only Maverick McNealy too strong 12 months ago.
The RSM Classic longshot pick: Eric Cole (+7000)
Odds available at DraftKings Sportsbook at time of publishing.
Eric Cole has finished 3rd and 15th in the last 2 editions of the RSM, and, having already posted 2 top-10 finishes in the FedEx Cup Fall, he holds plenty of value at big odds.
