2:16 pm Parx (Race 4) – Deckology 3/1 (2-star play)
Deckology showed good form when finishing runner-up at this level over an extended 6 furlongs at Parx on his penultimate start. Below par when upped to $15,000 claiming company at this venue subsequently, the son of Point Of Entry has shown a liking for this trip and track, including when winning in a higher grade on a sloppy track last October.
He looks capable of registering a 4th career victory on his 2nd start for trainer Joseph Taylor.
4:04 pm Parx (Race 8) – Cant Stop This Man 2/1 (2-star play)
Cant Stop This Man has placed on each of his last 4 starts, including when beaten 3/4 of a length over an extended 6 furlongs in a similar race to this last month. He had previously gone down by 5 1/2 lengths when runner-up over this trip.
Regular pilot Edwin Rivera, on board for the son of Can The Man’s last 8 starts, is again in the saddle and he looks capable of registering a first victory since taking a similar contest over 6 1/2 half-furlongs at Parx in November last year.
5:25 pm Parx (Race 11) – Porsupuesto 9/2 (1-star play)
Porsupuesto performed well when attempting to make all prior to finishing 3/4 of a length 2nd in a $12,500 maiden claiming contest over an extended 6 furlongs at Penn National at the start of this month.
The drop in grade appeared to suit that day and while the son of Holy Boss has to prove his stamina stepping up slightly in distance, he has solid form at this level and is taken to get off the mark at the 9th attempt.
