Horse Racing picks at Aqueduct race track on Saturday, November 20: No time to die for No Time Alone

There is plenty of great horse racing action to look forward to across America on Saturday, including at Aqueduct race track. We have been crushing our horse picks for several months now (up 185.05 units dating back to Aug. 5) and we hit a 6/1 winner on Friday. Let’s maintain the momentum!

Here are 5 runners whom we expected to have a leg up on the rest of the competition. It’s time to dive in and discuss these potentially profitable plays.

12:20 pm Aqueduct (Race 2) – Lyrical Poet 3/1

The winner of two of his four starts to date the selection made the transition from claiming company when finishing runner-up in an allowance event over six-and-one-half-furlongs on the unique Kentucky Downs track in September. Attempted to make all having been drawn in gate seven on that occasion and with the same post position here he looks capable of supplementing his debut success at Turfway Park and claiming race victory at Saratoga on his penultimate outing.

1:18 pm Aqueduct (Race 4) – No Time Alone 4/1

The Wesley Ward-trained filly finished runner-up in a couple of maiden special weight events prior to a sixth over six furlongs on turf in a similar event at Belmont Park in September. The second of those runner-up efforts came over five-and-one-half-furlongs at Saratoga but it’s notable that the selection is a daughter of middle distance performer Flintshire and she is taken to break her maiden at the fifth time of asking stepping up to a mile for the first time.

1:45 pm Aqueduct (Race 5) – Fort Washington 5/2

The War Front colt demonstrated plenty of ability when racing from off the pace prior to finishing a good third in a maiden special weight over a mile-and-one-sixteenth on turf at Belmont Park when making his debut in September. Shug McGaughey’s charge was beaten by two more experienced rivals that day and he can break his maiden at the second time of asking having delivered a number of four furlong works on dirt at Belmont Park in recent weeks.

2:14 pm Aqueduct (Race 6) – Cost Basis 6/5

Broke his maiden here last December and has delivered a string of placed efforts this campaign including when finishing runner-up in an allowance optional claimer over six furlongs at Belmont Park at the start of last month. Delivered a career best figure when racing close to the pace on that occasion and he is taken to score here having registered an impressive one minute flat five furlong work on the main track at the same venue a week ago.

3:43 pm Aqueduct (Race 9) – Serve The King 3/1

The winner of three of his first four starts the son of Kingman has competed successfully at stakes level since including when finishing runner-up in the Grade 1 Joe Hirsch Turf Classic over a mile-and-a-half at Belmont Park last month. The drop in grade here is a positive and he is taken to register a second success of the year having taken a Listed stakes race over a mile-and-five-eighths on turf at Saratoga on his penultimate start.
