Horse Racing picks at Finger Lakes race track on Wednesday, November 10: Bankers Beast to the bank

Scott Spieth atop Silverly Enough wins the eighth race of the day at Tampa Bay Downs.

There is plenty of great horse racing action to look forward to across America on Wednesday, including at Finger Lakes race track. Here are 4 runners whom we expected to have a leg up on the rest of the competition. We have been crushing our horse picks for several months now, and we plan on maintaining the momentum.

Let’s dive in discuss these potentially profitable plays.

2:03 pm Finger Lakes (Race 5) – Red Priestess 7/5

Race 5 at Finger Lakes is a $16,000 Maiden Claiming contest over an extended five furlong trip and this one can go to Red Priestess who should have too much experience for the opposition. This three-year-old filly has shown a liking for this course as her last three form figures of 322 have all been here having finished no better than sixth in three runs prior to that at Aqueduct and she doesn’t have much to beat on this occasion so she should win.

2:30 pm Finger Lakes (Race 6) – Blue Skies Forever 12/1

Katlynn Gutterson’s Blue Skies Forever is likely to go off a big price for Race 6 at Finger Lakes but he has won and been placed here so it would not surprise me if he made the horses at the top of the market work for this. He has been running in this Claiming grade all year, albeit without winning, but he likes this extended mile trip and should go well for a long way in a race that looks fairly weak on paper.

2:57 pm Finger Lakes (Race 7) – Bankers Beast 5/2

The penultimate race at Finger Lakes is a $17,300 Claimer over six furlongs on the dirt surface in which a field of six are set to go to post and I like the look of Bankers Beast in this. She likes to race up with the pace and that could be ideal as there doesn’t look to be much pace on in a small field so she could get away on the lead and may be tough to catch from there.

3:24 pm Finger Lakes (Race 8) – Adirondack Tales 4/1

A $12,600 Maiden Claiming event is the eighth and final race at Finger Lakes and it’s the horse in stall two, Adirondack Tales, who can shed his maiden tag at five years of age. He must have had injury problems in his career as this is only his third career start having made his debut back in July but he is getting fitter with racing as form figures of 932 suggest so he should be in the shake-up here.
