Horse Racing picks for Aqueduct race track on Friday, December 1: Amani’s Eagle takes off

Horse Racing on dirt at Santa Anita

There is plenty of great horse racing across America on Friday, including at Aqueduct race track. We have been in fine form with our picks for a long time now and are up +144.65 units with our race selections to our recommended stakes dating back to August 5, 2021. Let’s keep it rolling!

Here are our best bets for today’s action at Aqueduct race track.

1:18 pm Aqueduct (Race 3) – Kunshan Bridge 2/1 (2-star play)

The four-year-old has shown good form despite not winning in five starts since joining the Linda Rice barn. Those efforts include three on the board finishes with the most recent of those seeing the gelding beaten one-and-three-quarter-lengths into second in a six furlong starter contest at this venue just under a month ago. Jose Lezcano, on board that day is again in the saddle and he looks capable of steering the son of Protonico to a fourth career win.

1:46 pm Aqueduct (Race 4) – Bobby G 5/2 (2-star play)

The veteran performer is the winner of 17 of his 80 career starts to date including in a starter optional claiming contest at Laurel back in April. The nine-year-old has registered some decent efforts since including when six-and-a-half-lengths fourth in a starter optional claimer over a mile-and-one-sixteenth at the same venue last month. The son of Awesome Again has a good jockey in Kendrick Carmouche up and is selected to register his second win of the year.

2:14 pm Aqueduct (Race 5) – Curlin’s Girl 7/5 (2-star play)

A $360,000 purchase at the Keeneland September Yearling Sale last year the pick showed plenty of ability when coming from off the pace to deliver a two-and-a-half-length second in a six furlong maiden special weight on turf at this venue just under a month ago. The Curlin filly delivered a 59.55 five furlong work on dirt at Belmont Park recently and representing the Anthony W Dutrow stable she looks up to breaking her maiden on her main track debut.

3:12 pm Aqueduct (Race 7) – Amani’s Eagle 5/2 (2-star play)

The son of American Pharoah showed solid form in finishing three-and-a-half-lengths third in a $14,000 claiming contest held over six furlongs at this venue last month. The six-year-old tracked the early pace on that occasion and will have no issues with the step up to a mile here having won or placed second in three of his six outings at this distance. Manny Franco is a positive jockey booking and he can partner the Tom Morley-trained selection to victory.

3:40 pm Aqueduct (Race 8) – Hot Fudge 7/5 (2-star play)

The pick has won two of her last three starts including by two-and-a-quarter-lengths when making all the running in a seven furlong allowance optional claiming contest at Belmont Park in June. The daughter of Liam’s Map has been busy in the mornings of late registering a number of five furlong works in recent times. The Linda Rice-trained four-year-old has Jose Lezcano, on board last time out up here and her representative looks capable of resuming with a victory.
