Faded when upped to Grade 2 company and a mile-and-one-eighth in the Remsen Stakes here early last month but sets the standard here and can break his maiden dropped to seven furlongs and returning to maiden special weight company.
1:20 pm Aqueduct (Race 3) – Foxtail 2/1
Made all the running and kicked four lengths clear in the straight prior to holding on by a head from a strong finishing rival in a mile claiming contest at this venue in November. Raced from gate five that day and the rail draw here is a positive with regards her chances with similar tactics likely to be employed. Tackles an easier race on this occasion and with Jose Lezcano up once more she can complete a double.
3:50 pm Aqueduct (Race 8) – Green Light Go 8/5
Ended last year competing in Graded stakes company and while the Hard Spun entires first two efforts at Grade 3 level proved to be disappointing he performed well when beaten a head into second in the Grade 3 Fall Highweight Handicap over six furlongs at this venue. The extra distance here should prove no issue having won at this level over a mile-and-one-sixteenth at Oaklawn Park last April and he is taken to get his 2022 off the perfect start.
