The daughter of Kingman has made just 4 starts, breaking her maiden at the second attempt when scoring by a neck in a mile and 1/16th maiden special weight at Tampa Bay Downs in January.
She has acquitted herself well in 2 allowance starts since, including when runner-up over 9 furlongs on a yielding track at Belmont Park in June. She looks up to making a winning California debut following a 1:02 5-furlong work.
9:10 pm ET Del Mar (Race 9) – Havnameltdown 9/5 (2-star play)
Trainer Bob Baffert has won this race 8 times and his son of Uncaptured made the perfect start to his racing career when seeing off a subsequent winner in scoring by 2 1/4 lengths in a 5-furlong maiden special weight contest at this venue in his debut last month.
The extra distance today should prove no issue and he is selected to help jockey Juan J Hernandez improve on his 22% strike-rate (19/85) at this meeting.
