Horse Racing picks for Parx race track on Monday, November 21: Feast on Coco Pebbles

12:52 pm Parx (Race 2) – I’m A Coco Pebbles 2/1 (2-star play)

Performed well at this level in recent times most notably in two starts since joining current trainer Elliott Soto-Martinez. Placed second when beaten half-a-length in a mile contest on a sloppy track here early last month on her most recent start. Advertised her well-being with a fair 51.64 four furlong work here earlier this month and is selected to register a fourth career success with jockey Yabriel C Ramos, who finished fourth on the filly here in July up.

1:19 pm Parx (Race 3) – Doctor Doom 9/5 (2-star play)

Finished on the board in three of his four starts since a gelding operation prior to impressing when delivering a seven-and-a-half-length victory in a $25,000 maiden claiming contest over seven furlongs here at the start of this month. Change of tactics to racing from the front appeared to suit that day as did the return to a fast track and the son of Hit It A Bomb looks up to following up on his first start against winners.

2:13 pm Parx (Race 5) – Sovereign Change 2/1 (2-star play)

Ended his time with the tracks top handler Jamie Ness with a two length second in a $12,500 claiming contest over a mile on a muddy main track here last month. Below that form when fading in finishing seventeen-and-a-quarter-lengths fifth in a $25,000 starter optional claimer here subsequently. The booking of Paco Lopez is a positive and the four-year-old is taken to take a step forward to register a victory back down in grade for trainer J Guadalupe Guerrero.
