He made four starts in $16,000 maiden claiming company here finishing on the board twice including when a length third over a mile-and-one-sixteenth on a muddy track last month. He raced just off the pace on that occasion and while the gelding could finish only fifth when beaten four lengths over this distance on his penultimate outing he gets a drop in grade here and looks up to helping handler Robert Mosco improve on his 18% strike-rate (25/141) at this meeting.
2:40 pm Parx (Race 6) – Back To D’Future 5/2 (2-star play)
She demonstrated good form in three starts in maiden special weight contests at this venue including when finishing runner-up over course and distance in her two most recent starts. Went down by three-quarters-of-a-length on a fast main track last month having finished a neck behind the winner on a track described as good on her penultimate outing. Regular pilot Anthony Y Nunez takes the ride and the Uptowncharlybrown filly is taken to break her maiden at the fourth time of asking.
