There is plenty of great horse racing across America on Monday, including at Parx race track. We have been in fine form with our picks for a long time now and we are up +178.25 units with our race selections to our recommended stakes dating back to August 5, 2021. Let’s keep it rolling!

Here are our best bets for today’s action at Parx.

1:34 pm Parx (Race 3) – Parish Bell 2/1 (2-star play)

The daughter of Speightster showed good form in two starts for the Michael Maker barn placing twice in maiden claimers at Churchill Downs last year. The four-year-old went on to deliver three consecutive victories for current handler Jamie Ness including when making all to score by two-and-three-quarter-lengths in a six furlong allowance on a good main track at Laurel in July. Unable to dominate when fourth at Timonium next time she looks up to returning to winning ways.

3:49 pm Parx (Race 8) – Flor de Sombra 8/5 (2-star play)

The winner of a minor stakes contest over six furlongs at Penn National in November the filly appeared to appreciate the drop to an allowance optional claimer when delivering a five-and-three-quarter-length victory over six-and-a-half-furlongs here at the end of August. Trainer Guadalupe Preciado boasts a 23% strike-rate (19/82) at this meeting and with a good gate and receiving weight from her older rivals his daughter of Social Inclusion looks capable of helping him improve on that with a victory here.

4:53 pm Parx (Race 10) – Caddy Man 9/5 (2-star play)

The gelding has shown ability at a higher level in the past including when six lengths sixth in a $32,000 maiden optional claiming race over five furlongs on turf at Delaware Park in August. Trained by Scott Lake the three-year-old finished eleven-and-a-half-lengths fifth in a $25,000 maiden claiming contest over this course and distance subsequently and with the drop in grade to suit he is selected to break his maiden with Paco Lopez booked for the ride.
