Maythehorsebwithu demonstrated good form in recent starts following up a second in a $12,500 claiming event at Timonium with two starter optional claiming victories. Most recent of those successes came over six furlongs at Laurel earlier this month and while the daughter of Bullsbay steps up to a mile here, she is the winner of her only previous start at the distance and is taken to complete a hat-trick with the track’s top jockey Ruben Silvera in the saddle.
2:13 pm Parx (Race 5) – Walk Me Home 11/8 (2-star play)
Demonstrated plenty of good win and placed form in the last two years, registering a fifth victory since the start of 2021 when scoring by two lengths in a $5,000 claiming contest over five-and-a-half-furlongs here last month. Subsequently claimed to rejoin the stable for Kathleen Demasi, for whom the daughter of Air Force Blue competed successfully at around the $12,500-$25,000 claiming level in 2021, and the four-year-old is selected to complete a double with Anthony Salgado booked to ride.
3:07 pm Belmont At The Big A (Race 7) – Ninetyprcentmaddie 1/3 (3-star play)
The daughter of Weigelia has shown good form in her two starts to date following up a maiden special weight victory over four-and-a-half-furlongs with a three-and-a-half-length triumph in a stakes success over a furlong further. Both of those victories have come at this distance and while she steps up to six furlongs here she should have no problem with the trip and is selected to defend her unbeaten record following a 48.28 four-furlong breeze here two weeks ago.
