Purchased for $250,000 as a yearling in October 2020, this daughter of Gun Runner made an impressive start to her career when drawing 6 lengths clear of her rivals in a 6-furlong maiden special weight at Parx last month.
She represents a top trainer in multiple Grade 1 winning handler John Servis and with Frankie Pennington again in the saddle she is taken to defy being drawn widest of all to maintain her unbeaten record for Trin-Brook Stables Inc.
4:11 pm ET Parx (Race 8) – Rye Sense Of Humor 5/2 (2-star play)
Rye Sense Of Humor was successful on his final start for his previous handler when winning a 7-furlong $10,000 maiden claimer at Gulfstream Park in March. He has finished on the board in all 4 starts since joining Guadalupe Preciado, including when 3rd in a 7-furlong $16,000 starter optional claimer on the main track at Parx last month.
He placed at Gulfstream Park in May on his only previous turf start and the son of Distorted Humor looks up to recording a second victory of 2022.
5:10 pm ET Parx (Race 10) Princess Grace 9/5 (2-star play)
Princess Grace was the winner of this race last year and she followed it up with some good efforts later in the year, including when 3 1/2 lengths 3rd in the 6-runner Grade 1 Matriarch Stakes over a mile at Del Mar at the end of January.
She was absent until finishing last in the Grade 3 Eatontown Stakes over a mile and 1/16th at Monmouth Park last month, but is likely to have improved for that run and is taken to record a 7th career success.
