2:16 pm ET Parx (Race 4) – Stash My Cash 3/1 (2-star play)
Stash My Cash demonstrated ability in maiden special weight company last year and performed well when finishing 6 1/4 lengths 4th in a $25,000 maiden claiming event over 6 furlongs on a good dirt track at Parx at the start of last month.
He gets a drop back in trip following a 12-length 4th when upped to 7 furlongs subsequently, and with the marked drop in grade in his favour he is taken to get off the mark with Paco Lopez an eye-catching jockey booking.
3:10 pm ET Parx (Race 6) – Promise The World 2/1 (2-star play)
Promise The World has made just 2 starts, with the most recent of those coming when she was 2 1/2 lengths 2nd in an allowance optional claimer over a mile and 1/16th at Laurel in March last year. She has been off the track since but has registered some solid works including a 1:02 flat 5-furlong breeze at Fair Grounds.
She represents a top trainer in Graham Motion and looks capable of helping jockey Jorge Ruiz improve on his 27% strike-rate (3/11) at this meeting.
4:04 pm ET Parx (Race 8) – Straight Shot 7/2 (2-star play)
Straight Shot has been in good form, finishing on the board in 3 of his 4 starts since returning from an absence. His sole victory in that run came when making his debut for his current handler, Jorge Delgado, in taking a $35,000 claiming contest over 7 furlongs at Gulfstream Park in March.
He followed up a 2nd place there subsequently when a neck 3rd in an allowance optional claimer at Monmouth Park a month ago and looks capable of overcoming a wide draw.
