Demonstrated good form when runner-up, beaten six-and-three-quarter-lengths in a mile $25,000 maiden claiming contest here at the start of last month. Proved no match for an impressive all the way winner when beaten over 30 lengths into second in a similar contest 16 days later. Gets a drop in grade here and with regular pilot Frankie Pennington in the saddle she looks up to helping trainer Scott Lake improve on his 15% strike-rate (49/322) at this meeting.
2:40 pm (Race 6) Parx – Flat Out Flying (2-star play)
The winner of four of his last five starts with all of those efforts coming at Delaware Park including when winning by two-and-a-half-lengths in an $8,000 starter optional claiming contest over a mile on a muddy track there a month ago. Mychel J Sanchez gets the ride here and he is taken to partner the son of Flat Out to a victory on his first start at this venue since a third in an allowance optional claimer in May.
4:01 pm (Race 9) Parx – Midnight Obsession (2-star play)
Shown that she can be competitive in stakes company when finishing on the board twice in minor events over a mile and a mile-and-one-sixteenth during the summer. Fair seven length fourth in a mile stakes contest here in September was followed by a three length third in a similar race to this on a muddy track last month. Versatile tactically she has drawn the rail here and is selected to register a third victory in eight starts at this venue.
