12:55 pm Parx (Race 1) – That’s Right 3/1
The Goldencents colt is showing improvement with racing stepping up on his fourth place finish here on debut in August when placing second in a maiden special weight at Monmouth Park just over a month ago. Extra half-furlong here looks unlikely to inconvenience and coming into this on the back of a 1:02.03 five furlong breeze here earlier this month he is taken to get off the mark at the third time of asking for trainer Michael M Moore.
1:22 pm Parx (Race 2) – Deckology 5/2
The selection has made the frame in each of his last nine starts including when finishing third having weakened in the closing stages in a mile-and-seventy-yard starter optional claimer on his second start at this venue earlier this month. The shorter distance here is in his favour as is the drop back into $12,500 claiming company. Having drawn the rail here and with Paco Lopez again in the saddle he is taken to register his third career success.
2:43 pm Parx (Race 5) – Sheer Flattery 6/5
The 12 time winner can overcome an outside post position to register his seventh win of the year in the fifth race on the card. The Louis C Linder Jr-trained entire was bidding to register a fourth consecutive victory when stepping up to Grade 3 company in finishing third in the Greenwood Cup Stakes here last month. Back down in grade Ruben Silvera’s mount can resume winning ways following a 1:02.11 breeze over five furlongs here a week ago.
